  • Owens,

I had the pleasure of going through AIT training with you at Fort Sill, OK. Hanging out with you at the PX, playing dominos, no matter what we were doing was an awesome time. I will never forget the jokes we had and the times we shared at Fort Sill. I think about you often and you will be missed.

  • Jerry,

I was the Patriot Guard Rider that was honored to escort Greg from Restland to LA. I went every mile with him....from the time he landed in Texas till we buried him in Louisiana. These were blessed moments all the way. I know you felt the same, as you edited your work. Thank you so much for including Greg Sr.'s "A" TEAM - REPORTING FOR DUTY...." That man took tragedy and taught us all what true courage and fatherly love looks like. In two words.... "AMAZING GRACE".

    THANK YOU....

  • I just want to sent my deepest condolences to the family and friends of sgt. gregory owens. I knew Gregory as a child from church in lawton ok, in which we attended St. James Baptist church. Gregory also lived around the corner from me on adams Rd i believed, i lived on evans.I haven't spoken or heard from Gregory since then but as a war veteran myself, I would like to personally thank him for his service and dedication and he will be truely missed.. Also to his family for raising a hero! RIp!

  • This is Gregory's sister. Who are you? My Mom wants to is your last name Thomas?

  • Sergeant Owens....a true hero. Puts things in perspective and shame on the the local media, the governor of Texas and other politicians for not honoring his passing.
