Beeing an avid SCIFI fan boy id say this movie is worth seeing - and anyway considering theres a big lack of desent scifi movies out there - also i differentiate these types of sci fi agains the more commen: " is see the future" types of movies rated as scifi. a good scifi imho has a dystopian backdrop-set and a small problem that needs to be solved witch can leed to change in a larger scale

I saw this movie last year and i though it was well made - had good action and fine CGI - it had more a good B-movie quality like: chronicles of Reddick and captain sky and the world of tomorrow. - for those who did not see it go find it online or in a rental store its worth it. P.S i havent played the game and only rate this movies from others i have seen.

id give it a 6.5 for good story and good sci-fi + excellent CGI idears

yea, I watched it last year too.

It was kinda average.

It had the same sort of feeling to is as Reign of fire.

I thought it had the same feelign as Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow more than Reign of Fire, which had a more natural look than fake CG.

I'm kinda disappointed on the movie, because as said above it is the year 2707.how come that, the environment is not futuristic? It looks like a world war 2 environment.

I really liked it, I guess one of the things was that after 700 years, we ran out of fuel, so they had to cut back to the good ol' times, with steam power and such.... I think it was a gamble, but i LOVED it, what other movie has WW2 soldiers with plasma rifles and swords, fighting mutants?

I already watch it last year... its great but in the end only one survived cauz the ship of the aliens went to mars or something and I think thats where all the remaining people of earth went. so there doomed LOL.
