okay guys this is deffenitly before halo, look at the body armor the marines have, def. way before the new inproved halo 2 armor, there were TWO different spartan groups, it may be chief, it might not, and also the spartan armor, it looks like the early stages of the spartan program, so in conclusion this game is before Halo one and two.

Its made by the compnay who gave us all the AoE games, and as an RTS fan, this is gonna be an incredible game. I hope you can play as both factions Covenants and Marines/Spartans, it would be dope to see the special characters they might have ie Marines summoning Master Chief or the covenant sending in a cloaked elite as an assassin type character. Cant wait for this game its gonna be dope.

This is a trailer for a Halo RTS game to be released for Xbox360, but you should expect a PC release. Peter Jackson is working with Microsoft on the Halo Film and on some new games for the console. So maybe Halo could turn out good, just be glad uwe boll is directing it...lol

I just don't get it. I've been playing FPS games since the original Doom and I don't get what people think is so amazing about the Halo series. Yeah, the trailer is okay. But how is this amazingly better or different than any of the many PC based FPS games? Hell, I even gave Halo 1 and Halo 2 a shot on the console (even though I hate FPS games on a console controller) and it just seemed so boring and graphically bland. Not trying to hate on Halo. Just putting it in perspective. I mean.. come on.

Halo Wars is a different game from Halo 3, those are separate projects. One will not affect the other, in fact, Halo Wars is timed before Halo 1, in the first Covenant attack to humanity in the Reach Planet. And both will be Xbox 360 exclusive.

Oh and about the BR thing... The UNSC has different rifles, like US army has. US army uses i.e M16 and M4A5, so I think that UNSC uses at least two standards, the Battle Rifel and Pulse Rifle

now, they always had Energy Swords. They always had Battle Rifles. Only, you just could'nt use Energy Swords in Halo 1 because of it's fail safe. And the Battle Riffles were.nt standarized UNSC equipment then. The Assault Riffle's were. And I seriously doubt that's Master Chief. Definatley before Reach was glassed.

No, the Master Chief was not the only survivor. At the end of the 3rd book, Halo: First Strike, he actually had 3 other Spartans. Also, there was an artifact on Reach, so it wasn't completely destroyed. And lastly, there are many other Spartans everywhere.
