@ebakalli Quentin Tarantino directs, writes, and acts. He can do all three extremely well. Although I love Scorcese, Quenin Tarantino is not the ignorant choice. His movies provide the action for the adrenaline junkies, the awesome dialogue for the people who actually listen to movies, and interesting film styles for the film students. So i suggest you stop being ignorant and give Tarantino the credit he deserves.

action-sure, dialouge-yes, but what film styles are u referring too? tarantino does not have his own film style, he simply borrows things from other directors. Scorsese however is a pioneer, his style is unmatched, his camera-work is brilliant and his movies are actually about something. QT's movies are absolutely pointless, they serve no purpose. You cant tell me that Taxi Driver and Pulp Fiction are on the same level. Taxi Driver is a historical document! Pulp Fiction is about nothing...

@ebakalli I never said Scorcese was not better than Tarantino. I'm just syaing credit should be given to Tarantino. Although he riffs off everyone, he still has a sort of creativity at work. Pulp fiction was purely for entertainment purposes. He wasn't trying to say something by making this movie, and it was still nominated for Best Picture. I think that's an achievement in itself. With Scorcese,I find Raging Bull and The Departed his best movies. He is better, but Tarantino is still great.

@onlinevideogamer duly noted, he definitely should be given credit but he should definitely not be given the same recognition that Scorsese receives, they are on different levels, QT does have great movies and each of them are highly entertaining in their own right but Scorsese's best work is simply masterful. It all comes down to what you prefer, I prefer the steak while you prefer the burger
