  • They tournament sucked ass. Jacko Victory? From ECW? thats how i remembered him. What in the hell is he doing going by the name Jacko? REY MYSTERIC, who the fuck is that, is that Rey Jr's dad? Or what KONAN looked so dumb here. I mean i love old wrestling, today is so poor, but an old PPV like this makes me question myself.

  • First off ive been a wrestling fan since 1985 when i was 3, now 26 years. And i must say i watched this today and it was a joke. Some of the "international" teams sucked and werent even from their country. Jack Victory and Rip Morgan are not from new zealand. They are from the usa. Chris Adams and Norman Smiley? SMILEY was from america damn it. AND HE DID THE ASS SLAP, what was he doing in WCW in 1991? some of the stats jr used were so false. Should have just had Steiners vs Muta and Saito, JOKE

  • M.r SAAAAAAAAaaaaiiiiitooooUUU!

  • Rip morgan is shit.

  • He kicked out at the 2 1/2 count.Match should of continued. And that was one hideous count by the ref lol

  • Wait... is this part of that when worlds collide tag tournament?

Team canada was benoit and beef wellington if so...

  • wasn't they called the maulers also

  • "wrestled extensively around the world, especially in America"....wtf

  • "WHAM!"

  • Congratulations to Mr. Saito on being named to the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame.

  • wut happened to kenjii shaboya

  • I have this on DVD! Great Muta my favorite wrestler of all time! There will NEVER b a wrestler like Muta! Once he is gone u better get every tape/dvd you can of him because its a wrap!

  • the reason is because is some country's they work a different side of the body then we do here in the usa

  • Anyone have any insight why Rip Morgan would sometimes turn into the ropes the wrong way? e.g. at 3:28 and 4:48.

  • Cool to see this - good piece of nz wrestling history

  • I remember this match so well, thanks for uploading it.

  • Muta was over big time on this show.

  • this is wcw starrcade 1990 collision course: when sting defends the worls title against the black scorpion in a cage and the special referee was the crusher. black scorpion was ric flair and the stieners brothers won the pat o' conor tag tornament.

  • @donholla Black Scorpion was originally Al Perez. However, when he learned that he would lose to Sting to end this storyline, he backed out. Flair was made The Black Scorpion in an emergency move.

  • Paul Heyman and Jim Ross doing commentary in WCW?...now ive seen everything...lol

  • You must be young which isn't a diss. Jim Ross was apart of WCW long before WWF (WWE).

  • 1989-90 was a great time for NWA/WCW. I was 12 years old then. Preach on brother...there ARE those of us who remember.

  • @brnleague99 I'm with you. This was the WCW at it's best. Right before the WWF fleeced it of it's main talent. Vicious, Flair, Steiners, Road Warriors, Mean Mark, etc.

They all left one by one.

  • Paul Heyman was also a part of WCW long before ECW. Jim Ross announced when it was still the NWA.

  • gun...yes

  • I do know it's in Japan (obviously), but as far as date and place concerned, I don't know. But maybe this helps. On that tape, there was a fire death match that a guy got powerbombed on fire. Maybe that help.

  • is that the same jack victory from ecw?..just

    wondering

  • Yes, the match I had in video tape that I borrowed from a friend of mine. It was a lumberjack death match which Mr. Pogo used the scythe (sp) on Muta through out the match; but, Muta turned the match around w/the green mist. I forgot how the ending went however. I'm pretty sure it was IWA Japan b/c there was no commentators audio.

  • Can you tell me the date/location?

  • Are you sure you aren't thinking of one of ONita's matches where he dressed up as Muta?

  • Maybe he wasn't Muta and he was The Great Nita.

  • Greatmuta: I was wondering if you have the lumberjack death match bet The Great Muta and Mr. Pogo (Quite possibly from IWA Japan, not sure)?

  • Muta vs. Pogo? No... They wrestled with each other?

  • good match, thank you for posting this one!

    more!!!!

  • Nice, nice! Good match. Thanks again.
