  • 'Video Vibrations'?!!!... lol

  • Great video and song....could care less if they were white!

  • I first heard this song on the radio, but then it came on BET Video Vibrations and my jaws dropped at what I saw...WGWV, white girlz with voices!!! Not try'na sound like a bigot, but you can imagine how stunned I (and a whole lot of others) was when this revelation came to pass. I had instant respect for them, even bought the maxi-single and enjoyed the club mix. Damn, I miss the nineties!!!!!!!

  • @nelliboy609 OMG!!! I had the same single cassette tape! Lol

  • Oh Milissa, Melissa, Melissa. & Cindy! :)

  • I have it... but its without the rap

  • Does anyone have this as an mp3?

  • OMGoodness...... ahhhhhhhhh (screaming) ILOVE THIS SONG.... I have played it like eight times already..... I want to meet them....

  • Wow. Good 2 Go!! This was Stanley Brown's ( B.E.T.'s Sunday Best band leader) Project. He was the Producer on this song. I had this Promo Maxi-Single. The Club Mix was hot also.

  • this whole cd is great

  • WHOEVER PLAYED THE BASS THEY NEEDED A SERIOUS RAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • From what I heard, the record label folded or else I think they would have gone further.

  • The whole album is off the chain.

  • Wow the way this white sista sing, their career should have taken off much higher. They can sing! I thought they were " sistas girls' women of color.............. im not trying to offend anyone of the opposite races but, they sound soulful

  • @buttlikewat THEY COULD HANG THEIR HEADS WITH ANYONE IN THE 90'S

  • Originally released in 1992.

  • I remember this video!!

  • I'm married to Melissa (brown with curly hair). Last week they all met out after 17 years for a little reunion. It was a great time.

Nat, Cindy and Missy came out again and spent evening with my for my Birthday. Thanks gals! Michael

  • Hey!!! So you're married to Melissa!!!! She reminded me so much of Teena Marie back then! congrats 2 u guys. Is she still singing???

  • Hi Mike, i tried to send you a message the other day...don't know if it worked. Will you please tell Melissa her old friend from 7 Trees David says "Hello" tell her i'm on myspace David Rangel and my sister Malissa says hello

  • Will do.

  • Anybody know where I can find the instrumental version of this song?

  • I have been lookign for this song for ages! Now though when I watch the video I get a Mili-Vanilli vibe to the girls.

  • Lol, I Think the same, used to love this jam, but didn't think they would be white?! It still makes me reminise though, thanks for uploading!

  • @ktache

really? if u loved the jam back in the day & the girls could actually sing who gives a crap if they r white? especially given the dearth of good rnb thats out right now?

  • Didn't mean to offend in any way :) - Just always pictured them having a similar look to the other girl groups of that time like J.A.D.E n SWV, all in all cool song :]

  • Yes, I remember this group and song... I scooped up the CD in 95 when I saw it in the cut-out bin... good stuff.

But the video... VERY slickly produced, but TOTALLY wasted the girls' potential. They were going for the 'round the way girl' vibe that was popular at the time, but everyone from the director on down executed it poorly. This could have been so much better in a better director's hands! This video just didn't make the girls look very appealing, and they shoulda had MUCH more success!

  • Right now on my page is an interview I did with Natalie Fernie from Good 2 Go. So head on over and check it out.

  • Great song, still holds up after all these years. I have 10 videotapes of R&B videos that I taped in the early 90's and this video is on there.Always gets me pumped up when I hear it!

  • This was my J-A-M!!!

  • I remember when this song came out. I loved this song.....and still do, no matter what they say!

  • its cheesy lookin' back at the video now..who came out first, them or TLC? They look like Bell BivDevoe..were they produced by them?

  • @FEMMEAQUA

i think they were produced by michael bivens (from bellbivdevoe) or he discovered them or both.

  • THE lead singer reminds me of TEena Marie..who produced this group and where are they now?

  • Comment removed

  • WHOA thanks for posting this...this takes me back..it was our class song when I was in 8th grade.... LOL 1992!!!!! Now that I think of it...WTF was it our class song? I think because we were "Never Satisfied" with our teachers or something. We totally didnt get the real meaning. ha ha

  • No problem! I still have this single on the casset. Ahhhhh, I LOVED the 90's. MUCH LOVE and thanx for the shout out!!!!

  • Ahhh yes, the VIDEO!! Haven't seen it since 1992. The ladies look lovely, don't they?? They perform so well in the group, and solo shots. Rivals most videos out there even today!! These ladies were bad!! Love Color Me Badd (another Giant artist) but Giant should have given them the same push!! This video was just as good as any CMB video. Again, top notch work, ladies!!

  • Thanks for the love sweetie! I appreciate hearing all the good memories and people's thoughts. It brings me back too!

  • I have the Good2Go CD,there's so many good songs on that album. I like "Never Satisfied", "He Thinks He's all that" and "dont wanna change you". The beats were good. sound good on a system with subwoofers......these were the good ol days of music..

  • I went to High School at Independence with the lead singer. SHe has amazing talent. Where is she? Is she in London. She was a loner who rode the school bus with us (like 7 kids total)

She sat in the back with the black kids and she could sing her ass off! When i was at Cal Poly in the dorms, i saw you all on Apollo and i was like WHUUUUT! I knew she would make it but too bad it was a one hit wonder. You guys should reunite and do a reality SHOW!!

  • are you speaking of Melissa in San Jose? She lived with me for awhile when we were in the group. She is amrried now with kids, One hit wonders LOLOLOL Well glad you enjoyed us while we lasted! LOL

  • Are you one of the members? What is the group up to now days? (Man, I ALWAYS loved this joint when I was in high school) I always wanted ya'll autograph....*sigh* well at least I get to chat on the internet with one of ya'll!! This song was a CLASSIC!

  • I am one of the members, one of two lead singers..um in the video that would be me with the Lizard leaning in the desert against a car singing "you don't appreciate anything I ever dooooooooooooooo" LOLOLOL I was actually sitting on the floor of an old wherehouse with sand on the floor and some guy on the side who let the lizard walk by me! Vidoes LOLOLOLOL THANKS for the love

  • Thanks for the reply. I peeped the video again to see the part that you were talking about. The music industry sounded so sweet in the 90's. It seemed like it was more about GOOD vocals and instrumentals. Now-a-days EVERY song sounds alike. Big ups on the response!!!

  • I used to be in love with this song, nobody I know remembers this song which really urks me cause this was really a good song. This song always stuck with me after all these years, thanks for posting :)

  • long live female new jack swing!!i have this song in my car(original version)!

  • Great song, bring me back to good times!

  • SUMMER OF 1992, BABY!!!!! My God, I used to love this song sooooo much. They always played it on Majic 108 here in St. Louis, but then these girls just vanished. Why? Becasue they were White girls who sounded "Black"? They had more talent than these singers now. That's for damned sure.

  • Bad record deal! The story of alot of artist lives! At least back in the day, folks have gotten wise now, can't just gaffle people like that anymore. But we did that dayum thang for a short period of time and had a blast!!!!!!

  • ah...I wish y'all lasted longer...I LOVE the album....I made all my former roommates listen to the CD I had and they got hooked....LOL, they just couldnt find the thing after I fed it to them! I miss ya!

  • Whatever happened to them??

  • This used to be my song. I still listen to it on my I-Pod. Good looking out on postin this.

  • do u have the video version or the lp version? i love this one better! i have the lp on my ipod lol

  • Good 2 Go was a female R&B/dance vocal group from Los Angeles, consisting of Melissa Miller, Natalie Fernie, Kathy Webb, Cindy Shows and Missy Newman. They were a one-hit wonder -- their single "Never Satisfied" peaked at #64 on the Billboard Pop Charts and at #10 on Billboard's R&B chart in 1992. The group released only one album, a self-titled release on Giant Records (Warner Bros. subsidiary label)

  • Wow you know alot about us!!

It was fun while it lasted- Missy

  • I think good2go should battle the spice girls and see who really shines! LOL

  • I saw y'all when you came to perform here in San Francisco at the club when you gals were doing your promotional tour....the Bay Area had mad love for y'all back then....this jam was the floorfilla....peepz would crowd in and there was nowhere to dance.....wish yall would had more support...where is Good 2 Go from anyway? there was another girl group I loved from Northern Cali..."New Choice"..I can't find a thing on them...the "People Want Bass" was their cut..I appreciate evrything u do..lol

  • After all these years this song has stuck with me. Even while watching the video I was surprised that i was almost able to sing it word for word. I actually think this might have been my first time seeing the video. Yes, there were seeral times in my childhood where we didn't have cable and wasn't supposed to listen to anything other than gospel music. When I first saw it with white girls singing I actually thought it was some rip off group imitating the song.

  • Hey Nats2cats, this song was also released in New Zealand - totally loved it, and I never knew who sung it or what ya's looked like, but found it on here...it brings back some great memories. The barstid! Nah jokes...just put that for a laugh!

  • WOW, LOLOLOL I had no idea we made it that far! Nice to hear it made it all the way across the world! Something I didn't even know! Thanks for the luv! xxxxx

  • Too Cool. Who was the Jamaican artist singing on the second single?

  • His name was Admiral D (lol) he used to do stuff for NWA back in the day, He was CRAZY for real! LOL

  • Admiral D sounds familiar. I'll have to ask my husband. He loves reggae and know practically all reggae artist.

  • That would be Super Cat! He was also on Kriss Kross' "It's Alright"

  • Seriously I love this song so much....

  • Well thanks rbiggie! Always nice to hear such positive feedback! :) I am only in touch with 3 of the other girls, all are doing well. we are actually getting together for the first time in a while so I am excited about that, its been a long time.

  • Them white girls gettin down. watch out now

  • Too crazy! I haven't looked al this stuff in ages. That's me, Missy with the big bun and bad rap. Too funny.

  • I remeber this group. Still have the single. Where r u now?

  • Just a workin gyrl these days! I still do singing session work for producers in LA, trying to get some placements in commercials, and stuff like that, NOT trying to be an artist anymore at all! ;)

  • Now this was the firt white girl gropu that put it down!

    I have this single 2!

I was wating for the album1

I miss yall... way before Christina agullera or Pink.. lol

  • So much luv! Ya'll are the best! kinda make a good2go gyrl feel GOOD! LOL ;) we should have a mass youtube campaign and see if we can make the front page of youtube WHERE ARE THEY NOW! LOL Spread the word!!!!!!! forward to EVERYONE you know!

  • The golden age of music. I loved this song.

  • "Ladies did I read them, I ain't gonna lie...men are NEVER satisfied (witcho' bad self...)" lol...man, so many memories. THis song came out my first year of college. One of the very few singles I actually purchased. In fact...I think I still have it. Let's see...who else was big that year? Mary J Blige...Hi Five...Apache...ah...the good old days....

  • Thanks so much for posting that! I am not too proud to say that I LOVED that song in the early 90's...yea, the hair was bad and the dance moves dated, but back then that was DA BOMB! Still is in my book! Thanks again!

  • I used to be in love with this group...now that I"m lookng at this grainy video...they kinda look like they may like women a little more than men. ??? I haven't been able to find out any info on where they're at now.

  • NO sweety, we all liked MEN, LOL that was the style back then just like Boyz 11 men with the ties and cross color gear.......come on now! ;)

  • Oh snap...I didn't realize one of the members of the group posted here! Just want you to know that you guys are the reason that I like white women now. You were my first white "crush". lol. I swore that Good2Go would blow up. I also later swore that KP and Envi would blow up as well. i think the record companies missed a golden opportunity.

  • Everyone thought we would blow up! LOL we should have but you can blame that on the record company! Well Hey now! although I am white I'm not sure if i qualify as a white girl! HAHAHAHAHAH You'd never know it! ;) Well Here's to white gyrls and first crushes! LOL

  • I love this video!!!!!!!! I have watched about 20 times already....lol...lol I MISS YOU GOOD2GO:(

  • WELL thank you very much!

  • This was a dope song... and yes, it surprised me that y'all were white too when I saw the video, LOL. It was also one of the last "New Jack Swing-styled" tracks to really hit before that whole hip-hop soul thing jumped off.

And yes, that label musta been insane to try and market y'all as a white r&b group, yet wanted it to cross over to the pop market. That kinda thing only happens in rap, in r&b it usually ends up appealing to the r&b crowd FAR more than the pop one.

  • Gangsta Rap and G-Funk ended New Jack Swing!

  • I feel they didn't really think you guys were going to be any good because if they couldn't tell that your group was more suited for "black people" and just build off that, then maybe good 2 go would've been a platinum saling group, but good 2 go still is the best white girl R&B group I have ever seen.(pretty too):)

  • Teena Marie never fit into a pop audience either. "Lovergirl" from 1984 was her only top 10 pop hit and prior to that, she was only considered an R&B artist and still is to this day!

  • So much love! AWSOME!!! LOL Thank you SO much!, we only had that one hit and video, we released a second single called "he's all that" but the record company wasn't happy that we didn't cross over to the white market ( UH MAYBE BECAUSE THEY SENT US ON A URBAN TOUR) so we came back from a tour and that was kinda it, no real big ending, it just ended in a strange way, its a shame becuz the album was really good and I think a bit too ahead of our time really, They weren't ready for us! LOLOLOL

  • Why would they try to cross the group over to the white market? your music doesnt fit into the "white market" It's more of a urban type of music that your group had, but it's a shame the talent you guys had went to waste because of bad marketing.

  • It was bad management and marketing! We were a white group singing R&B music dancing street and all of our producer's were urban music based, video producer's, choreographers everything, I don't know what they thought would happen. They promoted us AT FIRST with NO PICTURE and just the release of the single, so we would show up to these Black venues and they were shocked, but because they were already familiar with the song and liked it we gained our respect as singers

  • You guys were brilliant! A much smarter girl group than the Spice Girls! I own that album and I still listen to it from time to time. You were great!! What are you up to now? Do you still hang/see/perform with the rest of the group??

  • I do session work for producers, but I'm not trying to do the group thing anymore! I do stay in touch with 2 of the other girls only, i have no idea what happened to the others! LOL SHAME THANK YOU so much for all the kind words and love, it means the world! Everyone has great things to say and I love ya all for that!

  • THANKS! and it aired on VIDEO VIBRATIONS during the "FUNKY FIVE IN A ROW!!".

So much talent out of these girls...and this song is HOTT!

  • THATS ME!!! OH my Gawd! THANK YOU to whoever posted this!! I have been hoping someone would find it and put it up!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I was one of the girls in the group AND I don't even have a good copy! SO THIS IS GREAT

  • Which one were you?

  • The one on the floor in the sand with the lizard! "You don't appreciate anything I ever dooooooooo" LOL and on the other video on my page for Soul train performance, I sing lead on the second song and do the interview

  • I rarely remember Video Vibrations in the early to mid 1990's cuz I was use to watching it when Alvin Jones was the unseen host. We got BET in 1987, but I assume Video Vibrations (a breeding ground for underground and new artists) started in 1983 or 1984! There are a few videos from the same program that are posted that came from 1984. Their captions were originally red/white and they never credited record companies either.

  • your the one playing in the water in the sink while singing "you dont appreciate anything I ever do" because if you are that verse is my favorite part. I just saw this video a couple a days ago on video soul and absolutely fell in love with it, I also downloaded the song onto my ipod.

  • I just have one question, what happened to the group?

  • Hi Natalie, my name is David.I grew up with Melissa in San Jose and i'm trying to contact her can u please pass this message to her?i am on myspace David Rangel my zip code is 95351 i live in Modesto,Ca. i loved this song when it came out and still jam to it. I hope life has been good2go for all of you girls

  • I vaugely remember them and I'm usually up on old school! These white girls are good!!

  • On Soul System, it stated that this was a Top 10 R&B hit in 1992, and I guess it was their only hit. I wasn't able to find any info either on All Music. I don't remember this song, but I'm POSITIVE other fellow You Tubers can shed more light on this group and their whereabouts.
