I think that if they ever introduce Jove ships to players they should make them and there BP only buy able from a Jove loyalty store and Jove should only give lp for level "6" that require like 8 standing with Jove to start and are so hard that you need a fleet to complete them! A Jove frigate will be lets say as hard to get as a normal faction battleship. And require allot of skill. That way they will be balanced I think :)

@WARPED1 The GMs say that they want to do somthing with Jovians in the future, bring them back and all. It'll be interesting and very exciting if they bring back Jovians ships. Even more exciting if they add more ships such as the usual 6 Frig types, single Destroyer type, 5(?) Cruiser types, 2 Battlecruiser types, and 3 Battleship types.

Jove is just OMG, when apocrypha was released i reported a bug, so a JOVE frigate flown by CCP jumped to me from a system like 80 jumps away, i tried to lock it with a rookie ship (i was interested in new char creation) and it gave me "The target is invulnerable"=no lock, that is just crazy (yes, it was a jove frig, i did my research). And only CCP having them is ULTRA NOT FAIR!!!!!

Joves are tech5's highest the game reached. 99.9 for GM standings. they even have their own space.

So if we do 'fly' jove crafts. they will not be Tech5 like GM's. they'll be tech4's something abit more powerful and slightly stronger then the tech3's Now adays. And also they'll be at war 24-7 to us if they enter systems.

if you haven't notice. taking on a Jove vs taking on a POS station is pretty much the same. even on this video they got the jove GM down to 70% shields. even with their highest resist they have. they are pretty much owned vs us. Sure for GM's they can 1shot us with a godmod abilitys and since we can't target them then yeah. but if we did able to and they didn't. vs us to them. they'd be destroyed. on other hand depends on their weapons. probably down to the size for their Cruiser to a Battle-

I wish I kept my old pics from the public test server of Eve. They had an event in some system and, on the other side of eve, i found one of these beauties in Y-MPWL at a moon. All I could do to shoot it into armor and stop, couldn't stand to go any further out of respect. So I just stole a dev Armageddon and went on a capital ship hunting rampage. Ever see a carrier dropped by an armageddon? Alone? I HAVE! 7 Test Beam lasers at 400 damage modifier with loads of GM stuff. Ah memories :P

It was a GM since Jovian technology isn't introduced into the game, and GM's are the only ones that fly Jovian ships. BTW, GM's have unlimited shields, Unlimited Armor, and Unlimited Cap so attacking them is not a good idea. ;-)

Tech III is supposed to come out sometime soon. As far as that goes, I can barly do tech II, and with the POS exploit making t2 prices go up, t3 is gonna cost you an arm and a leg, and then your RL house on top of that.

If Jove ships were in, they would either have to be wicked skill intensive, preversely expensive (like a 20 mil for a t1 frig) or else made to suck or else the 25 people whoc ould get into a Jove BS would fly out, bend BoB over and rape them, then move on to goons and so on...

I have to admit something: I do not even play Eve. But a flatmate of mine is quite deep into it, so I asked him about the specifics of this. The corporations that were involved in the exploit had only few Titans, groups like ev0ke which have many were not involved. If they were, you'd have seen a recent drop on titan activity.

alot of people who had motherships in evoke including there first titan was before the exploit and were part of D2 alliance. Alot of people who self bought titans you will find they used to own T2 bpo or mined/rat/mission like mad. I know one pilot who had a t2 bpo for value of 75 bil.

Recall back to the time when the Amarr Empire was subjugating the Minmater and tried to do the same to the Jove, and Jove gave Amarr a royal asskicking. The politics in eve are a delicate balance, and the Jovians might be in there to act as a catylst for an expansion... More subscription for CCP I guess. With the empyrean age causing the four player races to war, when will the jovians appear and smack the main aggressors head back into the whackamole machine? (If you catch my metaphor)

And one more thing, Jove is WAY better than T3. T1-T2 is what 10-20% increase at most, officer and fraction is somwhat better but that's another story. This single Jove ship was WAY better than a fully T2 fitted ship, but T3... that will just leave us noobs even further behind. Oh well +10 implants here I come.

Jovians have been discussed for ages,but for now ccp is keeping their cards on their hands - if they are implementing a BS like this for players to own, i'd say it'd be as exclusive as the federation megathron or the caldari state raven (i.e. not balanced but ridiculessly rare and thus expensive).
