  • Beautiful

  • Love it. I've been in this mode for almost 2 years now -- I call it Rockin' on the Front Porch ... import for me has been/remains finding/building a community of other 'rockers' who comprehend that sittin' still, listening, grinning, and effecting pools of gratitude for what I have right now, who I am right now, is a Huge Work. My essence pace is so back-in-the-day, like my rural, farming grandparents in their nebraska community. People before things, always. LIFE is the outcome.

  • when I do that even when I'm cleaning the house or ironing it makes it SO much easier! Great message!

  • Sorry, not enough space. What I mean is that sometimes you do need to not do. We are conditioned that it's a sin not to always DO something. But there's really nothing to do! Of course on the mundane level there are things we have to do to keep all the balls in the air but maybe if we lived a very simple life, even those obligations would be fairly minimal. Being "chill" works for me! Why not? Being stressed out and not present isn't better, that's for sure!

  • I agree with you about the idea of being present in one's life. Type-A people who are incredibly driven are living in the mode of passion. In yogic terms it is rajasic because it's a frenzied existence rather than a serene one. And it's all centered around the ego, which needs to win, accomplish, feel like it's doing all these things. I would have you reconsider your remark where you said "It's not just being chill and not doing anything." We are human being, not human doings.
