yes there has been much confusion over this as many people say that, live, james blunt has the capo on the 8th fret but the song also sounds similar with the capo on the 2nd fret. it depends what you want: if you want be as realistic to the song as possible then i suggest capo 8th fret. if you want to have fun and make ur own cover: capo on whatever fret you desire. this cover is brilliant but when you play the Bm chord i thought you played F# ? :S

He plays in C major with capo yes sometimes live but some of the chords are off, but this version is ok if you don't have a capo and don't care if it sounds exactly the same!

On another version he plays it even cooler in G-major with capo even higher, don't remember which version is the original, haven't heard the song for a long while. Original key is like Eb-major or somethin
