Thank you for enlightening me that I was wrong. But I don't ever recall claiming that any of my stuff was right or wrong. I'm not here for that or some sort of technical competition. If its wrong its wrong. I enjoyed it and it seems a few others did too so *shrugs* mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned. Appreciate you taking the time to show us the "correct" method. Cheers.
yeah yeah and then play it on the six to the four with accents on the twos and slides on the ganja block with the brews to the sevens... yeah.. what evea... sounds awesome.
I wanted to reply the comment when i got te notification on my phone and it completely slipped my mind. But as they say better late than never.
Thank you for the very constructive comments. I actually revisited the track today with what you said in mind. And it actually made sense. Its nice to know that there are still sensible people on youtube. Really do appreciate it.
@Acephaliax Hey you're welcome, like I say this isn't too bad at all but when I'm listening I'm getting a crossover of rhythms so it's like you are playing in 2 or 4 bar phrases rather than just keeping the groove to a 1-bar-at-a-time thing, if that makes any sense. The way you've phrased some of the fills and things would be perfect for a drum solo in this 7/4 tempo, you have definitely got an excellent sense of rhythm, just need to harness it right back into a 4 and 3 count per bar...
@theoriginalbensteele Not sure if I've got any better but it's an awesome idea. i will get around to it as soon as I get my camera sorted out. (The old one got busted sadly) Although I must be honest I'm not technical at all purely self taught so processing the rest of what you said was rather well bleak? But I THINK I get the general idea. Lets see what happens. Thanks for taking the time. Also this time around I'm late with a reply because youtube never sent me notification about the comments.

Not too bad but listen to the clave, played on the little woodblock/rimshot on the original.
try to feel this as a very seperate 4 then 3.
also, it's always good to accent the 1 when playing in 7, so whatever you do always kick it back round to the 1 beat.
keep it up
