Newburyport's band always sucked . . . just like their football team. Amesbury's band was great and far more technically proficient. The Newburyport football team sucks too. Remember that game in the mid-1950's? Amesbury clobbered Newburyport by a score of 99 to 6!!!!! Hahahahahahahahaha

the Amesbury highschool can play because we dont waste our time on halftime shows. you get one or the other.good sound or bad sound and halfway decent halftime shows
And, for the record, the Amesbury band ALWAYS did a half time show!!!
