Helmut Lipsky is a violinist-composer, a former student of Itzhak Perlman and Ivan Galamian, now living in Montreal.

i think he's really cool because that music is a bit jazzy and totally modern ;-)
what i also like is that he uses a lot of G and D strings - those are the ones with the "full" tone
