  • ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! I am glad he died before the shit of today came out. Music died for me around 1987.

  • Bill Hicks' comedy is as timeless as any Beatles album or checking

out an MC5 clip! Bill Hick represented freedom without compromising

his principles and sticking to his philosophy that is much needed in

OUR DYING CULTURE!!!!! (What has happened to it???)

    KICK OUT THE JAMS, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!

    R.I.P. BILL HICKS.

  • God I wish he could see the music scene today....

  • ummmm..... i don't care if this guy is funny sometime. Barry Mannilow is an important part of music, even if not his songs - but the songs he has written and produced for others.

ALSO George Michael is a very talented singer and songwriter.

  • @Alessi1911 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You are part of THE PEPSI

GENERATION!!!!! It must be a release for you to come out of a banal

closet and post something SO ASININE!!!!!

FOR THE RECORD: Barry Manniblow is not important because he's a

hack who writes crap and George Michael is talented in male restrooms

blowing a certain instrument!!! Well, that makes Bill Hicks' comedy....TIMELESS!!!

  • @mcjayc100

I'm not sure what the Pepsi Generation is. I'm 24 years old and actually a child of baby boomers making me Generation X. And the whole George Michael scandal was set up, that cop pulled out his dick to George Michael first. And other than that I am so sick of the word "Asinine". It's overused, just like "epic".

And Barry Mannilow might not be everybody's taste, but he is still a respected part of American Music. You can't take away his years of success no matter what.

  • @Alessi1911 Generation Y is 18- 29. Sorry, you don't win a cookie!

You should be smart enough to know you're own generation. As for

George Michael, he sucked his way in and out of that scandal!!! (CHUCKLE!)

He wanted his name in the papers to see if he was revelant. (NOT REVELANT!)

Poor ol' poof flamed out.( PUN INTENDED...EPIC!!!!)

And Barry Mannilow, not respected that much.(BORE!)

Success, yes, but no revelance at all. Get out of that 'American Idol'

    mentality and FIND YOUR SOUL!

  • @mcjayc100 Our generations aren't as clearly defined. I call anyone born between 1985-1999 "the unnamed generation". Gen Y is older than me I thought and I'm 23 I was born in 1988. I thought Gen Y ended in 1984 and the next "generation" was the Millenium Generation that was born in 2000 and after.

  • @KingRadbadical1988 Not my fault that noone wants to be a part of anything anymore than looking like a pretty boy rich kid and listening to soulless bland music. Fuck we're the most socially conservative generation since the Victorian Era its sickening, and most of all, BORING. Soon people gotta get bored of this pretty boy "everyone's a hustler" mentality people don't even drink fuck fight and smoke at parties anymore they just stand there trying to look rich.

  • @KingRadbadical1988

    Baby Boomers 1946-1959

    GenX - 1960-1980

    GenY 1981-1993

    GenZ 1994-present

These are the loosely accepted guidelines, although there's a lot of wiggle room as to which generation you belong. Usually, the Gen Y kids are the children of Baby Boomers, while the Gen Z are the offspring of Gen X.

  • @degree7 Exactly. I changed the definition and decided that everyone born between 1983-1999 is "generation Y" and everyone born 2000 and after are the "millenials"

I don't care if people called 90s babies milennials, that was stupid of them, that term should describe people born in 2000 and after lol.

Its a very loose definition with no real clear boundary on either side.

  • 3:25 am i the only one that noticed that he was rickrolling people before rickrolling existed? 0.0

  • @Glaudge Yep! He was also telling Chuck Norris jokes way before the internet existed...

  • You gotta have faith *bang bang* no George you gotta have talent dude -New Rule - LOL

  • "If money had a cock, George Michael would be a flaming faggot!" Hahahahahah...

  • 2:25 Chris Griffin laughing

  • Bill Hicks comedy is dead, but listening to this is like listening to the right view of media and music. He has such a great view on pop culture and life that makes me feel like I don't need to kill myself in need for a revolution.

  • Bill hicks is amazing:) I love the way he gets very serious and then at the end adds a bit of comedy like'' i am available for kids parties'' he is a true legend

  • just fuckin classic!!

  • Yea i know that mainstream music now sucks and Bill Hicks would have a field day making fun of them. But there is also a lot of good music around. So much! Bands like the Foo Fighters and still around and still making great music without selling out. Then there are new bans like Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, Tallest Man on Earth, and a bunch of others. Just keep looking!!!!

  • @ifreakinglovemusic29 I do like Foo Fighters, I'll give you give you that. I don't know most of these other bands but Black Keys are on the chopping block as well. They have a decent sound, but they've whored out their music for commercial use. Which is a shame because I do like they're sound....

  • The saddest part of all this is Debbie Gibson still tours, and the aforementioned 80s rock stars are talented compared to todays standards!!!!!

  • I wish Bill was around to hear people like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, etc.

  • He was so ahead of his time. So much truth it hurts to laugh

  • PLAY FROM YOUR FUCKING HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • notice how he predicts George Michael to be gay?

  • Who are those people standing infront of Bill in that first clip? It seems like a panel of judges.

  • "WHEN DID MEDIOCRITY & BANALITY BECOME A GOOD IMAGE FOR YOUR CHILDREN?" Isn't that just EPIC!

I want this guy to come back from the dead and run our country's department of education.

  • A great montage of Bill's jokes on Music.

  • @Filmdude2001 thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • @barneyismyhomeboy They have no affect on me. They're pop, and rather generic and shitty pop on top of that.

Dimebag claimed to play Metal, I love Metal, and Dimebag played shitty "Metal", so it is more of an important thing to me, than some commercial hack who makes over-produced music that is only sold to the dumbass general masses, not me.

  • gone to soon, Damn the CIA.

  • @andersames1146 You think the CIA offed Hicks?

  • Fuckin' hilarious. We miss you Bill :(

  • Justin Bieber, Rebecca Black, Cher lloyd....fuck it we need Bill back!

  • I'm buyin' this shit.

  • To think rihanna called herself a rockstar, honestly am i the only one who is fucking mad over that?

  • @purplenurps Your not the only one fucking mad over that mate, i think Pink called herself a rockstar aswell. It would be great to see Bill rip into them.

  • i like rock music....... like from 60s like doors, cream, hendrix, blue cheer, some shit from 50s chuck berry, cash, some shit from 70s led zepp, black sabbath, deep purple NONE from 80s little from 90s (all grunge) and almost nothing now..... some bands like the black keys are alright nothing speial tho...

  • You can easily do that same routine using today's mainstream artists, just replace the names:

    Rick Astley=Justin Bieber

    Debbie Gibson=Taylor Swift

    George Michael=Adam Lambert

    Jimi Hendrix=Dimebag Darrell

  • @DemonCannibal731 Don't you ever fucking compare Jimi Hendrix to that no talent Brown Note Tone douchebag again.

  • @Erk1982 Don't you ever talk about Dimebag like that again. Even though they played different genres and not really comparable because of it, that doesn't mean you can't admire and have respect for their obvious talents.

  • @AskeGuitar Distorting your guitar to the point where the only tone you get is mud and then playing as sloppily fast as possible is not a talent.

  • @Erk1982 Funny, because, if you take out "as fast as possible", that's pretty much what Hendrix did, played sloppily and as distorted as possible. But hey, it was done under the influence of pot in the 60's, so of course that means it was genius, no question's asked! And this is coming from someone who likes of his music.

  • @AskeGuitar Dimebag was a hack. Horrible/simple-as-fuck riffs and bullshit shred for solos.

He was a bigger disease to Metal than 80's Glam was. Glam died out, Dimebag became a legend and caused Metal to become the untalented cesspool of try-hard tough guys it is today.

    Fuck Dimebag.

  • @DemonCannibal731 Debbie is the only one on your list that has any talent.

  • @DemonCannibal731 What a disgrace.

    Jimi = Dimebag?

Jimi wasn't a fat redneck sack of shit who made shit music.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow actually it's the pantera fans who are fat rednecks. Dimebag was actually one of the best metal guitar players of the 20th century.

  • @mwells219 Horrible riffs and horseshit shred solos =/= best metal guitar player of the 20th century.

  • i was a kid when this came out and i would have loved to have had him at my 4th birthday party

  • i was a kid when this came out and i would have loved to have had him at my 4th birthday party

  • For what it's worth, aside from being talentless George Michael is a flaming, fucking bi-sexual, faggot, sword-swallowing, semen-gobbling queer.

  • Holy shit....he foresaw youtube....hahahaha

  • @BaronVonsFuden of them too, of you two i think it was. not youtube hahah

  • @teameymelli1 True...hahahaha....I was High when I saw that....hahahaha....saw it again...it's not youtube....thanks man

  • 2:47 he forsaw Youtube..."there's a video I'd watch at YouTube"

  • 2:50 he predicted Youtube

  • 2:50 did he say youtube????

  • @mrc560 fck I heard it too

  • spam 7

  • R.I.P fucking legend.

  • @1:46! @1:46!!!

  • I think Bill would have fucking killed somebody if he were alive to see music today

  • 2:00 ROFL!!!

  • I seriously think Bill would prefer to remain dead if he saw how the Third Mall from the Sun turned out

    and still not Arizona Bay

  • I wish Bill were here to rip on those talentless, autotuned little hacks from Glee.

  • @Wiz83 I know, he would have great jokes about how terrible people like Lil' Wayne and all those other Young Money assholes are.

  • @Wiz83 that's our responsibility.

take Bill Hicks' torch, and carry it onward!

Share the light that is knowledge.

  • @Wiz83 Ha ha Glee! Isn't that ace! I like the way they have every race and type to make it fair! Fucking evil! I like Doug Stanhope more than Bill as he is funnier. I see Bill as a stand up commentator rather than a stand up comedian. Still, he is a legend we need now more than ever

  • To be fair, if we didn't have all these shitty artists during the 80's, talented musical artists wouldn't be able to sample them against their will later.

  • Man if only Bill knew Astley would come back to haunt us in a fucking internet sensation. Seriously, if you were part of that shit, I hope you get cancer.

  • I'm glad these other forms of noise exist to weed out the stupid and the "low expectation" motherfuckers from concerts of bands that really rock.

  • I want my children to listen to people who FUCKIN' RRROCKEDD! I don't care if they died in puddles of their own VOMIT! I want someone who plays from his fuckin' HEARRRT!

  • FUCK REBBECCA BLACK.

  • Bill truly was cutting edge in every sense of the phrase. Hell, he was rick rolling before the world wide web was available to the general public.

Miss ya, Bill. Wish you were still around to tear the current crap the pop music industry is churning out a new one.

  • George Micheal is a flaming fagot

  • @Franz1987 Literally.

  • 3:35 hicks's audience has been RickRolled :) lol

  • I guess money has a dick! LMFAO

  • amazing dude!just amazing!we miss you!!

  • what is he talking about, new kids on the block are the shit!

  • Barry Manilow looks like Rod Stewart's attatched to a broom.

  • Where is the Bill Hicks of today?!

  • @skottiethehottie lurking

  • @skottiethehottie Underground, because the mainstream has no dick.

  • No diving yet!

  • Oh, my God. I love Bill Hicks.

  • heil! heil! heil!

  • I'm sure Bill would have plenty material with Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus and all though no talent disney products. They make my balls boil with fury.. its a shame that my voice of reason has left to new frequencies... We miss you Bill Hicks.

  • @theWalrusDude

I'm sure Bieber makes your balls boil.

  • @TheOtium haha, good one.

  • @theWalrusDude I think you need to relax, if you don't like them then don't listen to them!!!!

  • @theWalrusDude I would thumb you 1000 times if i could. As soon as i saw Beiber i thought "Oh... How i wish Hicks was around", not that i wish him harm from going through the experience. But just to hear him calling it for what it is in public, i would give my pinky toe for that.

  • @theWalrusDude Bill left his legacy to us. He's not coming back to terrorize mediocrity and banality. It's up to us now dude. I think we should stop thinking about how Bill Hicks and George Carlin would have so much material right now, and start writing the script ourselves. I for one grab the guitar from time to time and do what I can.

  • @theWalrusDude i'd give anything to see his bit on Bieber, Kesha, etc he'd have a tremendous amount of material today compared to back then. lol
