Haha i was playing as england. And I literly destroyed the birtannia campign. Even on VERY hard its like playing on moderte. The nation bearly formidable is the scots. Because of there noble swordsman pike men (etc) Every one else gets pwned by sherwood archers armourded swordsmen or hospitaler knigts

My english army (led by Edward I) defeated William Wallaces army during a seige in Lancaster, at the end of the battle i had the choice of releasing him, randsoming him or executing him. In a fit of medieval brutality i executed Wallace and sent his head to back to scotland, they never fucked with Edward I again :).

I love this campaign. I played as the Irish and whooped butt so I'm gonna switch to the English.

Best played with 'very hard' battles to get those huge bloodbaths that are so delicious.

I remember killing wallace and his overpowered army in MTW2 just by sending a cavalry unit to their rear, charging into wallace himself, and killing him in one go!

Then, i sent the entire norwegian army with the king of norway leading it, and after one minute all the scottish were running and being slaughtered.

It was epic, a flawless victory with just a couple of casualties on my side, and almost 90% of the scottish annihilated.

The Vikings had their heads choped in Scotland sent back in boxes to Norway as a warning.

And on MTW2 you probably put the Scots on easy with minimal units and vice versa for Norway.

I had normal difficulty and huge troop sizes, just check this tactic out and you will realize that it works.

Of course, it works with every army in the game, not only with scots, you fucking nationalist!

That is like in the first Medieval:Total War, as soon as the Mongols arrive, I assassinate the leader (I usually by then have multiple rank 3 or higher assassins) and swoop in with my emissaries to bribe the now leaderless rebel Mongol armies.

Along with Andrew Moray, he defeated an English army at Stirling, and became Guardian of Scotland, serving until his defeat at the Battle of Falkirk. After some years in hiding Wallace was eventually found and captured in Robroyston near Glasgow and handed over to Edward I of England, who had him executed for treason.
