How do you set up the team order? For example i want to fight terry, andy and mary how do i set them up so they come out as one team in team play.

@Ruthlesseclipse it would be obvious to give them the same order number. Example Terry Order = 3, Andy Order = 3, Mary Order = 3 etc.

@MugenLord Hmm...how about if I wanted to set a team order of Terry, Andy, and Mary for the 3rd round but I also wanted the third round to include Ryo, Robert, and King, but I don't want the teams to be mixed up? (ex. for the 3rd round, either it's Terry/Andy/Mary or Ryo/Robert/King, but no combinations between Terry/Andy/Mary/Ryo/Robert/Kin­g)

I feel kind of embarrassed coming and asking questions about mugen now in 2010. I just found this mugen thing and people seem to have given up on mugen by now. Since it is really difficult to find characters and most projects seem to have been canceled. Anyway! Is it possible to set a character order in "survival mode" or perhaps exclude some characters? Since I have some unbalanced and overpowerd charachers and don't want to fight them in these modes.

Ok I figured it out. For anyone else that might have the same problem I did.

Although I assigned order to 10 characters in mugen properly I didn't REALIZE that ALL of them had to have a set order. My problem was anybody popping up even thought I had set order. But since the 70 other characters I had didn't have an order set the computer automatically randomizes them into all the selections. So in order to avoid this after character names you don't want used type without quoties ", , order=0"

for the future inbetween the commas is where you enter the stagename.def to assign a stage to that character. the two commas are place holders until you assign it. I hope this helps. Probably most anyone searching for "how-to-set-order" tutorials in the first place experienced my problem. Funny how nobody talks about the order=o parameter as it is vital to get it to work with a larger group of characters than with what is set in the arcade order. my response on this same comment board to the arcade order tutorial is up, read it I hope it helps you out. Also remember that even thought you may have copied the screen pack data over it may have its select.def and system.def in another folder. In that case those are usually found in the mugen folder in a folder named after your screen pack. Make sure those select/system.def are used. follow the instructions I left on that comment board to that video for the order

hey i have the marvel vs capcom 2 screenpack and i did every thing you said but nothing happened i went to my screen packs folder went to data select and asigned all 160 of my chars a level (it took 4ever) gave them all an order and i went to arcade mode and it just didnt work please help i have god chars and i dont want to face them at the begining of arcade

set ur arcade options to 10, then give every character the same order=x ... x being the number 1, usin this system u can organize it how u want.. please refer to 4:20 when he mentions this at.

one of ur chracters has a story mode that has a command error, i suggest u find it and correct it, if ur are not able to do that then delete then delete the character all together, i had that with charlie :(

They don't need to have stages.

It just has to say

(character name), (Optional Stage Insert), order= (Difficulty level)

Truthfully I dont use a codec I use my Microsoft Movie maker, none of my vids lag or lose quality visual but soon as I upload them on Youtube they lose quality and lags sometime and I dont know why?
