  • @TheTripstrapstrull Well I do agree, he is a normal child

  • I am norwegian and lives in Norway :D

but I HATE lutefisk soooo bad xD

  • Jesus! Their hair turned ginger from smelling that rotten stuff!

  • @fenriz218 that is funny

  • Hi i am mark norella from the philippines, working at a local TV network.

i would like to ask permission if we could use this video for our episode

about different unique foods all around the world. i am hoping for your positive

    response :) thanks

  • @marknorella

yes, I would be interested in having a cd of your episode. would that be possible. Sounds like an interesting topic

  • Does anyone have the video from AFV, where the pushes the lutefisk at her daughter and it falls on the floor and the cats eat it???

    That was an f-ing riot.

  • We do have lutfisk in Sweden aswell, its a Scandinavian thing, not Norwegian

  • hey, from norway too, people have different taste, i dont feel its mocking, dont really care, but nice seeing you making it in usa :)

I'm also half Icelandic, and be glad your not from there, haha, much worse food there :)

  • Sorry, I think you meant mocking? Well actually we are Norwegians. My grandparents are from Oslo, and we grew up with my mom making lutefisk every Christmas..But we kind of broke the tradition because of the smell but were surprised that it actually tasted better than we remembered

  • @margarnp No worries. Not all of us take it as mockery. I'm in my late 20s and have yet to taste it. I've smelt it, hence the hesitation to actually eat it. :p

Hey, to this day I can't eat anchovies. My father tricked me into trying it when I was 5. Utterly revolting.

  • I'm from Norway, and you people are moking a norwegian tradition... how about norwegians were moking your food...?

  • @Ims2202 well, go ahead ... make fun of the Italian kitchen or some good ol' American spareribs, chowder and fries!

Sorry pal, but as a norwegian, concerning culinary issues, I'm afraid you're sitting on the lower end of the barrel. Serious, I understand: the forefathers were poor and all that ... but that's no reason to eat this rancid stuff in the 21st century! For god sake, Norway is a rich country these days!

  • wow, every family has an awkward teenage boy who hates being filmed.

  • that baby is too cute with those wide eyes... lutefisk not is what he is saying...

  • UGH! I think it smells like a gym sock!

  • You can smell lutefisk from a mile away!!

  • I wish my family would make cool ethnic foods.

  • awesome video!! Great family times!! Wonderful dinner

  • I was so surprised when I did finally eat this, always avoided it as a child.

    Not too bad

  • I've eaten Lutefisk every Christmas since my husband and I started dating in 1995. It's a family tradition on his side and all the in-laws, and the kids, are expected to eat it. You actually can develop a taste for it; my own kids certainly like it. It's best when served hot with plenty of butter, salt and pepper.

  • that was not lutefisk that was bowl of glue ! no one in the world would have eaten that hehe
