I like seeing science made available and understandable to the masses, but I'm afraid that efforts like this only help to reinforce the negative image that it's all too complicated to understand so one shouldn't even bother trying.

He pronounces Pierre de Fermat's name incorrectly. It's pronounced Fer 'ma, with the t silent. I can't stand it when people pronounce his name incorrectly. Fermat, created the foundation for nearly all modern luxuries. He solved mathematical problems hundreds of years before others, and they don't recognize him because he didn't save his solutions. Instead, they completely discredit him. Hence, very few people have heard of the Pierre de Fermat, a genius FAR beyond his time.

Physics has got to be both the most complex and most simple of all sciences. It's just so obvious once you get it, but it takes a while to really be able to think the right way. Of course, some of the mathematics and formulas can get freaky, but... in the end, it's all just so... simple. It's rather ironic that it's so hard to understand XD
