Or when he finally did manage to steal the ship, why did he choose to crash the ship? Now that the important ship is gone, both sides are screwed.

The drawn art could use some work, but other than that it is absolutely phenomenal. The animation is very smooth, the 3D is impressive and the sound effects were visceral and fitting, an interesting note about the sound effects is that, while it was obvious at least most of them weren't yours they came from obscure enough sources not to be easily recognized (instead of from obvious sources like star wars). Amazing work.
