  • Thanks for all your help, you always make the math easier for me to understand, with your help, i PASS my med calc tests every semester!

  • this is a great refresher!

  • a person with basic algebra concepts can just have a glance at it, and do it in seconds in their mind no matter how big the numbers are, because when we are dealing with a combination of division and multiplication, it always is so easy as it can be reduced to fractions (or decimals in medicine). No wonder medical students are so horrendous in math.

  • when it's pure multiplication, you can cancel/reduce the numbers anywhere through the numerator and denominator, which actually means that, in the case of the first expression, you can straight away multiply 500x4/2000=1 and then you multiply that 1 by 60, which will still be 60. Why do you make it sound so complicated? This is basic arithmetic fourth graders will do in their sleep.

  • great stuff mate

  • i love your clean nails and pretty hands..

  • "well you're not, silly!" LOL

  • Please use more tone in your voice. It is as a cheese grader on my nerves.

  • Thank you! Very helpful

  • There's a MUCH easier way to do this.

  • I've always been terrible at math and recently have been thinking of applying to nursing school after obtaining my MA in Anthropology, but the intense fear of math has been too much. Thanks so much for posting this- there may be hope for me yet! Really great post.

  • Again, thank you......please keep them coming, I really hate math.

You make it interesting and fun, I wish I had you as a teacher.

More calculations with IV and piggy backs, please!!

  • Yeesh. . . soooo much easier than the way it was taught in class. I have a quiz tomorrow and was really stressing over it but not so much now. Thanks !
