  • you from texas?

  • @HamiltonWebberfan2 lol Kentucky :p

  • Thanks for showing these. I'm trying to learn Hexagon & other 3D type mesh software... I'm a total noob.

  • 00:30

"I'm not going to change any of the points or any of the sexes."

I couldn't help but die laughing when you said that. HAHA

  • Nice and pleasant tuto !! thank's a lot !... SO WONDERFUL AND INTUITIVE SOFT !!!

  • If it hadn't been for Cotton Eye Joe...

  • @superant10000 lol :p

  • how long it take you to learn how to do this? (faves)

  • @vampyreakura takes a while to learn, i'd give it a few months practice at least, but then i've found the entire time i've been modeling i always learn something new or some new tool i didnt know about each time i make something

  • how long it take you to learn how to do this?

  • I loved this tutorial! You did a great job, and was easy to understand, and follow. Well, I will follow it soon, and try and make a blouse.

  • where did you get that body shape from? post the link for it please

  • @yellowgirl123456789 It's Alexa 2 from 3Dcommune -- which just shut down, I'm not even sure you can get the model anymore and if you could, you'd still have to buy it

  • @yellowgirl123456789 Alexa 2 is now avail over @ Daz

  • If you have daz3d, you can export models from there.

  • Good stuff..

  • Indeed, requires alot of practice, my mistake was when I switched between 3ds max - cinema 4d - hexagon- Pegasus modeler wasting alot of time this way but now I decided to stay in hexagon. I have another version of modelling a dress which start with a BOX primitive. SO far I have T-Shirt-pants-dress-shoes modelling tutorials but couldn`t find any tut for bra and panties :( :( Still looking for such tuts. I will try your version with a cilinder too, looks easyer.

  • @miste1982

you left 3ds max for this? keep on using 3ds max and youll get the hang of it, its industry standard and alot better.

  • You should make some other tutorial about shoes or skirts for SL.. :P

  • from what i undestand SL sculptie modeling should be around the same as this, i've never tried it personally as I don't play SL but i don't see what the major difference could be.. the actual modeling should be the same, just have to import something to model around

  • can i model stuff like hair on here?

  • yup :) the same way, you just start with a cap over the head and form the hair as you go.. slightly more complicated than clothing, though

  • k thanks. im totally gonna download this!

  • is these the demo version?

  • @MaykelKapersky full and demo are the same just demo lasts for 30 days, full doesn't :)

  • It was so quick. How did you make the arm holes please?

  • there's a few different ways, if you're using a cylinder you can just delete a point or face.. if you're using a cube odds are there won't be enough faces or points to delete so you'll have to tesselate to add more.. If you watch around 1:30 of the vid you can see where her arms are poking through the 2 side faces, you could just delete those to get arm holes, though you'll have to move the edges around to fit

  • Thankyou very much.

I tried making a dress before and it got really messy, and I got quite frustrated. I'm going to give it another go soon though using your example. :o)

  • it's really easy, just takes a little practice :) if you need any help just post :)
