You know what is sad? Remember that half sister Max had that decided to share the inheritance money with Maxwell, Nigel, and Jocelyn. I think her name was Raquel, she just wanted a family and to be recognised by her brothers as a sister. They only gave a shit for an episode and after that she was completely forgotten again. She is still out there with no family and shared all the money with the others, it is not fair.

Yeh.... it was an oversight on the writer's part. They didn't remember to keep her in a reoccuring role after saying she wanted to be part of the family. If there was a reason she couldn't show up on the show later,the least they could do was drop in lines here and there in reference to her continued existance in their lives. Like maybe Fran saying something to Max like, "So did you have a good lunch date with your new sista?" or "So, I hear Nigel went to visit Raquel"

@LoveMokes Maybe it was an oversight, maybe not. The only way to know for sure would be to talk to the writers themselves (fat chance). Reality is she was never mentioned again in the show, proving how these chracters really were.

Oh My Gosh I'm still crying and its been ten minutes already. I absolutely love this show. I watched the entire first season in a weekend, and trust me that weekend was not wasted. I love Fran, Grace, Max, Maggie, Brighton, Nile, CC, Silvia and most of all YETTA. Ugh this show was amazing!!

@BatmansFavoriteGirl yeah.. but she said in the cancer schmancer book that she never really had wanted kids in the first place. she said that while she knew if she had the hysterectomy she couldn't have kids, and while she never wanted any, the fact that it was no longer an option really upset her and frustrated her. she almost froze her eggs if the issue ever came up, but i think she said she ultimately didnt.
