Yes,it was very sad and I still miss him dearly but I am also so grateful he graced my life! I was so lucky! :)

He apparently fell from his nest as a baby and broke his jaw.

Some hikers found him on the ground. He had fur but his eyes weren't yet.

I raised him so he could be released back into the wild but when I was weaning him I noticed his teeth were not aligned and were growing incorrectly.

The top teeth would have grown behind the botton then into his jaw.The top would have grown into his nose. A painful death if released. By the time I noticed this

That is how I feel when I am blessed with a creature like this in my life. When they trust me enough to let me hold them close, I do feel connected to God!
