I'm glad to see the UN actually firing their guns; sometimes I get the impression that the UN troops are powerless to do anything about the violence in their midst. They weren't able to do much to stop the genocide in 1994 in Rwanda (there was a documentary about it a few years ago), and presently, there are tons of UN troops in Eastern Congo, yet the mass rapes and killings continue. But I want to add that Minustah takes half a billion dollars ($500,000) a year to run, while they could have given us an army with Haitian souls and hearts that wouldnt be afraid to go in the ghettos.
