  • Honda's will never be an option.

  • Nothing is better than the older jeeps with a 4.0 litre.

  • Which would be better off road, and grand chorkee or a liberty?

  • got a '11 Liberty in brilliant white a few weeks ago

  • This is supposed to compete with land rover? complete bull. A stock SUV of any type can not compete with land rover, they are simply the best. This is a good car for road and off road, maybe a little better on road than a land rover, but off road is land rovers paradise. I like this car, but it can NOT compete with a land rover.

  • @ktmlover90 he said it was meant to compete with an LR2, the baby landrover. The new grand cherokee is aimed at the lr3 and range rover.

  • @ktmlover90 maybe a defender 110.... range rovers are for housewives to take there kid to soccer practice, the only off roading those do is the soccer field, and the lr2 is junk. they're built by Tata motors in india... jeep; american made quality that will out wheel a land rover every single day... ill keep my 2000 cherokee with dents and scratches over your brand new lr2.

  • @deliveryboy1 the whole housewives range rover cliche is a bit old. They are as capable as anything... they just dont last more than 30k miles without falling apart.

  • @ktmlover90 i agree with that... the housewives thing is true, although land rover fans will say the cliche is old, its still true, however, i would love to get my hands on a defender 110... that would be the only land rover id buy, too bad we cant get them in the u.s.

  • @deliveryboy1 land rovers are great and last a long time as long as you maintain them. you can get 110's in the u.s. and if you want something that is almost exactly the same get a discovery

  • A face only a mother can love lol

    But still an awesome jeep.

  • go cherokee

  • the older CRVs are like little honda jeeps..very capable, raise the truck bigger tires they already have full time 4WD..they are really good off road

  • Jeep Rules!

  • Sorry I don't like the new look

    Looks like a baby commander

    And I can't stand them

    XJ all the way

    4.0 inline 6

  • @satchboogyfan, Totally agree.

  • I love the way it looks. I've been driving a friend's 1997 Wrangler 4.0L I love it.

  • As a former owner of the original model of the Jeep Liberty, it took me awhile to get used to the new model, but I truly love my 2008 Jeep Liberty!

Now, these hills in Indiana are nice...I am from that area around Indy, but I took my Jeep to Moab, Utah for some real off-road FUN!

My 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport did more than fine on some SERIOUS trails! Slickrock, steps, tippys, sand and washouts were mere childsplay.

  • There's only one Jeep

  • its have difrinacce lock

  • Jeep è discreta quanto a mobilità e insufficente quanto a qualità generale.Pertanto non può competere con l'eccellenza, cioè Pajero, Toyota e Nissan.

  • I own a 06 and although I like the 08 redesign, I prefer the look of mine; much more sporty. The new one is too refined and city. Who wants a city Jeep? And what's with the rollaway roof? It's just something else to malfunction and leak. And did they make the rear cargo room any larger? It looks smaller to me. And what's with the integrated headlights? They seem much more susceptible to rocks and breakage now. And why are all bumpers and fender flares painted now? The gray is better.

  • @lhiggs all jeeps now are turning into a city jeep, they did away with the manual tranny for 2010 too....jeep is starting to blow

  • @sawzall666 True. I guess the old saying is still true: Real Jeeps are built.

  • @lhiggs jeeps are suppose to look sporty. the old jeep liberty was ugly and didnt sell that hot, all jeeps have always been boxy so chryslers take on a sporty, curvy jeep had everybody saying "the fuck?!?" and it was never looked at like a real jeep. it looked very cheap. and its called a sky roof and itr doesnt malfunction or leak. and the cargo room is larger, you had intergrated head lights on the last gen retard, and the gray bumpers didnt look hot on base models so dont even start

  • @sexyboi142, I agree that "jeeps are supposed [sic] to look sporty," which is why I like the previous body style more. And the Liberty must have sold enough for Chrysler to leave it unchanged from 01 - 07. The new look is boxy and unoriginal like the Commander. Consumer Reports called the redesign "a change but not an improvement." And it also said the 2008 model is outdated. The skyroof is nothing but a gimmick and glorified sunroof. And the cargo is smaller, and the lamps were not integrated.

  • @lhiggs whoops, i meant aren't, the liberty was a cherokee replacment so its reached back to its roots. the skyroof is awesome btw. and the cargo seems larger, imo. i havent been in the old liberty simply because i thought it was ugly

  • @lhiggs the sun roof on these is HUGE my aunt bought one last year. its HUGE almost the entire roof

  • 2008 liberty 4x4 is great. very capable

  • man, they don't know what they are talking about, i have a 2009 jeep liberty sport 4x4 and it is amazing to have a confortable ride, such a wonderful capabilities off road, such a great car, gas i think it is avarage dont spect to get the same millage as your small crap cars, i love my jeep, and remember we have LIFE TIME WARRANTY TRANNY AND MOTOR WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT ?? ??? O////////O LOVE MY JEEP, ALL OTHERS ARE JEEP HATERS

  • I drive hard too. whats your point? and the roof is reinforced. i know a guy who rolled down a hill and landed upside down in a creek. the liberty is structurally sound. your hondas rear axel shafts are complely exposed. please do some research before you try to come at me.

  • I like Honda's very much. But I will admit a CRV would have a hell of a time making it through there, if at all.

If I wanted a vehicle to drive on the street 99% of the time I'd choose the CRV. If I needed some backwoods slop to get through, I'd take the Liberty.

  • lol i wud take the dare to put my crv through that and most likely complete wut ever they just did but probly struggle a bit more =P

  • take the challenge then big man. my 04 vs your econobox. they cut too many corners over at toyota. i would even pay your way into the badlands just to shame toyota on a national level

  • ur 04 what? its a honda btw, with the proper tires a task like this can be acomplished but not in the same sense of completion. to me its not worth spending all that gas over extreme capability when the crv has some capability but uses ALOT less gas to get from point A to B. i wouldnt mind owning a liberty but if i had to choose between the 2 i would stick with my crv =P and believe me i know what the gas is like on this liberty bcuz my insurance company rented me 1 for a week.

  • i get 18 city. and i drive the shit out of it. with a lift and extra lights. the crv was based on a chinese military vehicle. the actually have the same subframe. i have an 04 liberty. if you search jeep liberty badlands, the first 2 pages of videos are mine. if anything you should support america and trade your chinese paper weight in. gas mileage isnt everything. my jeep is 5600 pounds. if i hit you your done. the drive shafts on hondas aren't even in a tube. this is for the mens suv's. sorry

  • yea well when ur putting approximately 80'000 km's a year that will hurt u real bad, 5600 pounds would crush ur roof when ur truck rolls over =P

i honestly see a huge difference in how much gas the 09 liberty and my crv use bcuz im always going full throttle and doing 140kph on average on the highways with my crv and when i was forced to use the liberty while my crv was in for repairs, i wud avoid going full throttle and still use soo much more gas it was not worth it safety doesnt matter to me.

  • i took my honda crv through some worse stuff than that! although mine is a 2003.

  • stop being a hater trade it in and go get your rice made econobox you fuckin ass hole spammer

  • What do you expect??? The 2008 weighs 1000lbs more than the cherokee it was designed to replace..the 2007 Liberty does not weigh as much and has the same 3.7 L motor and the same 4 speed auto. I would be delighted to drive over top of a silly Toyota Yairs for you anytime.

  • where were you at?
