A mesura del pas del temps la gent anira recordant lo practics i utils que eren els cotxes com el Lada Niva.

Cada cotxe es per un us determinat tot i que avui en dia hi ha gips en la ciutat i esportius a la montanya.

El que intento dir es que si utilitzem el cotxe com a mitja de transport el Lada Niva dona algunes sensacion que els cotxes d'avui en dia ja no tenen com fortalesa devant de qualsevol obstacle i una mecanica simple pero eficient.

Lada's used to be all over Canada, but u never see them anywhere. I went to Greece this summer and ladas are everywhere, i think i might have found the last NIVA in Alberta?!?!?!?! Agreed, what is all the fuzz about one guy walking in front of the car? I drive Niva daily and I really can say that that terrain there was nothing. Niva is one of the best non-military offroad vehicles due its proportions.

BTW: if you youtube search a bit, there are a lot videos all the "kickass Japaneeze, American offroaders" being ass kicked by this wonderful miracle of USSR.

And, spare parts cost you 1 ice-cream per part. Ok, some cost 2.

Chance to do this all in 2wd VERY SMALL! My friend got that Rav4 and day before we went on hill near my town was rain. There was mud everywhere and we got stuck. Trust me or not ,Lada Niva passed near us like it is going on the highway instead of mud!! WE were stunned at first ,than i started to respect Niva a bit MORE!It has old design and engine is not so strong but it seems that it can go over mud PERFECT! Our Rav4 got stuck and we went home very dirty....

Tires were brand new ,actually RAV4 was brand NEW ,not even 3 month old. That was our first trip outside town in that car on local hill ,and my friend got lot of experience in Off-road so i thought that he knew his job. But than again we were stuck ,i went home fully dirty thanks to his RAV4 i wish we had Niva :)

True, we have last time took out a PORSCHE CHYAENNE out ouf low-offroad-attribute-terrain OMG this expensiv SUV Cannot drive in such a pussy terrain with 450 HP :D omg its good to have my Lada NIVA the best RUV ever! i tuned better cooling, clean motor( and other thinks i have much more NM than standart NIVA*s), and build some newer thinks into it, thats my hobby car!

Well i respect niva so much that i am planning to buy my self one in near future. The parts for car are very cheap ,and can be found in any car part's store. The car structure is very strong and can resist high level of abuse ,i even saw Niva's old as 20+ years very rusty ,still in good shape to go chew the road. I just think lot of people do not realize how strong Niva really is...
