I can't find v-studio 100 drive in sonar. i have tried everything, do by the book still do not find it

hellou there... I am buying a piano, It is a shitty P-95 sort of instrumet.

Will I be able to make beats with it (drums, guitars...etc) in case I manage to connect it to my PC? (piano isnt for me)

nice job...as read on some online recording project based on sonar....like what they said was the driver mode should be WDM..not ASIO..i want to know which is the best ...because any tiime i mixed down my sound quality seems to be lighter...i need help.

hey man i got a problem i dont know if you could help me, i was doing all the stuff that the tutorial said and when it asked me to disable my stuff i disable them but i disable all of the thing so when i go to driver nothing appears i dont know how to enable them again i dont know if you could help. btw im using a guitar pedal cus i dont really have a sound card and someone told me that with the pedal it works the same its a Digitech GNX3000

Please help! Two questions: I copied a guitar part from my computer but the timing is not in sync with the sonar drums. How do i get them to match up? Second, I have the guitar track and the sonar drums on two seperate tracks. How do i make a second track for drums when the chorus of a song starts????? THANKS FOR ANY AND ALL HELP!!!

@TheFrenziedPianist nope! you can program MIDI manually, and in some cases, use your computer keyboard as a musical keyboard.

@Phloxx1 no. This would require two different audio engines which doesn't work with digital audio.

Great vid! My Sonar 8.5 is hooked up to a FastTrack Pro. Softsynths & Re Wired synths work & get recorded. When I want to get my mic/guitar recorded (arm the track & light up input echo) I get this high pitched signal and cant get rid of it.

Any ideas how to solve this?

@poshdread Could be bad wiring or a bad ground. Also, if you're using a laptop, laptops have VERY noisy power supplies. The interface could be picking that up.

Check your wiring, try it on another machine if you can to rule out the power supply.

How do I know when to select ASIO and when to select MME?

@ajlpal you should always use ASIO. MME is slower, and not as fitted for audio work.

This is great. Thanks. Got an Edirol UA-25. A lot of money for the defects I've read about but M audio doesn's support Vista 64, called them. Edirol says ASIO support but I didn't see it. I will look again.
