We have to realize that to succeed, Donna has to appeal to the kids of today, not just the kids of 1979. The sound has changed, whether we like it or not. I prefer the orchestral disco, but as a teacher, when I play it for the kids, they stare and giggle just like I did in 1978 when MY choir teacher was teaching us "old" Beatles songs from the 60's. We thought it was "old fashioned" and out of date then, not realizing the great power it held - that comes later in life once vision develops!!
