we all know now from the Torah, Bible and Qur'an that all the prophets of God prayed the same by bowing and prostrating with their face to the ground when praying to God. All the Prophets fasted as well but some fasted different amount of days because that's what God instructed those people at that time. In the Qur'an God commanded us to fast the month of Ramadan which is 30 days. It's very easy to see that all the prophets of God had the same message which they shared.
