I saw a prisoner escort in Birmingham, they had more vehicles than this. They had a few police motorbikes, several police cars, a big Iveco box van which was probably armoured. They had a 4x4 with it too. Big convoy, and quite spread out too.

On second thoughts - it's probably the prisoner transporter. Very old and no doubt fitted with two-tones. The wind made it hard to tell what siren came from which vehicle.

I find this interesting tbh. I often think the extra police presence is to protect the suspects so that they can actually stand trial.
