I'm glad you like the video. And I agree that the quintet is marvelous. I made the video on location in Saghmosavank Monastery in Armenia on May 3, 2007. The concert was arranged especially for a little group of tourists from Scandinavia. According to the cover of their CD, the quintet "Garni" was founded in 1998 and they have been touring in many countries outside Armenia.

Fantastic! Marvelous! Finally, a group of talented artists rescued one of our endless thesaurus jewel and presented it to the world. This hymn belongs to the centenarian Armenian Holy Mass composed originally for choir of four masculine voices by Gomidas Vartabed. You can hear it every sunday morning all over the world in each armenian church. Bravo Garni Quintet, thousands of blessings for you. Thank you very much to T.J.Birkeland.
