Hey Dogdrawer, thanks man... to answer your question, express might not have layer ability but if it does, The way you activate it is to go down to the Lagoon (the tool thing at the bottom left) and look for the layers icon which looks like a stack of papers. I'm not sure where it is exactly on Sketchbook Express because I have my Lagoon customized with special tools. You might be able to find the Layer palette also by going to the Preferences.

I have two really quick questions, sorry to hassle you,

but I have sketchbook express, which is basically the same as this but it came free with my intuos. I was wondering how do you add a layer? My second is how do you record it.. I REALLY want to make one but I dont know how to record it...

I have always wanted a tablet ever since I saw them at comp USA. you can get a first-gen tablet on ebay pretty cheap, although after 5 yrs the lithium battery is pretty much toast.

Well you need to install it and then it's pretty easy after that. There are tools to choose from such as pencil or marker and you draw with those on the white 'paper' area.You can also import pictures into it if you want.

Ah... no. PCs are far superior to Macs. Most movies are made with PC software. True they edit them with Macs but that's ease of software not hardware. If you want to create decent games or 3d effects you're gonna want to use a PC. Trust ME... I have both.
