  • That guy from 2:49 I swear thats the voice of Francis the dog from cookingwithdog!

  • @Aptitude How many languages can you speak my international kind friend?

  • it's was great to listen to all those people speaking.... I jsut can't get Japanese people when they speak... it sounds so Japanese to me :) I guess, I must listen to them more often in order to understand them better. Thanks for the show!

  • have some videos of english speakers of your preferred subject ! watch them. understand them, write them, translate them, memorize them then record them with your own voice then listen to your videos and compare and correct. IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME BUT IT'S WORTH IT. One video of 10 min a week. You'll speak excellent english within a year or two.

  • this is great!!!

  • wtf

  • Cool :D

  • Lol, watch Friends. XD

  • friens is rubbish to be brainwashed

    demential

  • omg the first person interviewed

    has a great accent.

  • indeed!

  • Was the second guy from australia? lol

  • The second guy is from New Zealand.

  • wooooooa! I think its so cool to see asians speaking british english (1) and asians speaking spanish (2) .. dunno why, maybe its just what i didnt expect cuz of where i come from and what i was exposed to

  • that;s the same thing I said

  • I think it's kind of funny that the video is IN English... What if the people don't know enough about English to understand the advice you're giving them?

    haha:)

    I'm just being funny.

This is great advice for learning, ANY language, actually! All great advice! Just give it a try, practice, use it when you can-- and don't be afraid to mess up!:)

  • Impressive!

  • This really convinced me how to connect to others, even though, I'm not good on speaking English, but writing! Thanks people!!!!!

  • cool thanks

  • im still learning the language but here's my advice (which helped me a lot): find somebody to talk to, somebody with whom you can speak about anything you want and keep him/her near you and discuss everything in the language. this way you will have the confidence to talk and also you will find the phrases you like to use but still will understand what others say..

  • I'm American. Here is my advice:

Its OK to make mistakes. Most Americans won't be angry(if they're not jerks). Also, tell the person you're talking to that you're trying to learn, and most Americans would appreciate that, I think!

  • Why in the world would I get a minus sign for offering encouraging advice?

  • I have no idea why you'd get a minus sign, Argonaut22j. I just read what you wrote and it's very helpful! :0)

  • thankyou

  • english is easyy! .. wel supose i am english .. hahha

  • my grammer is bad but still people understand me

  • English was the hardest laugauge I tought!

  • I hear Hungarian is harder.

  • where did you hear it? :D im just curious...

  • My Hungarian friend. She said there's like no easy grammatical pattern and that you just have to memorize it.

  • Well I never tried to learn that XD sooo haha

  • but you can still understand them right?

Who cares if they don't speak it perfectly. What matters is that we can understand them, and that they can learn from any mistakes while practicing.

  • I'm not sure why we're being critical of someone who's pointing out an apparent fact.

  • you`ve to swear a lot, i might add

that`s my point of view when youre learning something new

  • great video safah!! i especially agree about doing something you really enjoy anyway --in english...and that it's much more about quantity of use than perfection...one eventually leads to the other anyway

  • A pretty good show!

  • Great advice! Thanks for pasting all of it together in one convenient video.

I probably said it last time, but I definitely agree with immersion (first bit of advice). It's much easier to pick up a language if you're surrounded by it and are forced to use it.

  • Yes..practice makes perfect!

  • LOL. I just "got" what this channel is about. I thought is was a current events show from England. But instead, it's an English language channel for people trying to learn to speak the language.

  • Ah ha. This was great. Good video for people who have some doubts about learning any language. I still have trouble with English but not giving up and communicating daily with it helped a lot. Great advices also. Ha.
