  • Dangerous to have wild animals for pets. They may someday turn on you and eat you.

Game and Fish told me that wild animals still retain their dangerous instincts, no matter how comfortable they may seem around humans.

  • ummm...... that's legal, right? I have no problem w/ it, but you don't really see too many pet tigers around.

  • stop this shit about ..THEY are wild animals lol..if you have a domestic cat you will realize they dont act domesticated at all..the tiger is obviously doing fine and the owner is taking good care of her..so STFU..the real wild animals are "HUMANS"

  • how much did she weigh at the time around this video, if you could tell me i would be thankful.

  • Dear Santa in India

  • what you people dont realize is that this animal was probably raised as a cub by this woman, so if you released it into the wild it would die because it would not know how to survive. so please stop bitching.

  • y do ppl say u can't have a pet tiger. yea they do belong in the wild but don't we too?! tigers adapted so that they fight and hunt for the rest of their lives cuz they have no choice.

  • *after reading some comments*

Why,should.you.own.a.pet.tiger. Honestly. They are beautiful animals, but they are WILD animals. They belong in the wild, running freely instead of being locked up in a cage. Yes, this tiger looks peaceful and sweet but this is not a good reason to think you could keep one in your backyard.

Do you want a pet? Adopt a stray kitten or a dog.

  • Lol what do you do when you go put of town and can't bring her? Ask your friend oh yeah I'm going out of town can you watch oh you know .... My fucking tiger?

  • Shes so SPOILED

  • 0:44 Shes obviously not looking forward to a vid...

  • I don't ever wanna own an exotic cat... but I'd sure like to pet them. Odd desire, but it's true. I just wanna say "I pet a _______" =D

  • i dont think there is ANYTHING wrong with owning a tiger at all! as long as you can afford and properly care for it, sol guud! remember people..all animals that are NOW domestic, were once considered "those wild animals ,that you shouldnt ever have" ^__^

  • I used to have a pet tiger...until i took a claw to the knee

  • OMG, that is a beautiful tiger! X3

  • You are one courageous person to have a pet tiger, lol.

  • Oh yes. Such a sweet pet tigress until she bites your face off. Tigers do NOT make good pets. End of story.

  • i want a pet tiger :P

  • Such a happy girl! Lots of chuffs! I was able to care for several yearlings at once. Having 7 tigres bounce around you, all 200 lbs or so and just being playful is fun. But the best is when they're being lazy and let you lay down nose to nose with them and they chuff at you and kiss your nose with a lick and then doze off to sleep; trusting you.

Nothing like taking a nap with a pile of tigers in the hot weather in the shade.

  • You know what makes ME sad? Thinking about all the tiger & tigress that have been shot and killed by people. There are not many tigers left in this whole world. Thinking about tigers also makes me feel good and it calms me down, I don't know why. Maybe because I adore these animals, they are so majestic, strong, YET incredible sensitive, loving and special animals. You know a tigress would run through fire to protect one of her babies right? They have love, and show love! Same as in the video!

  • let the animal go

  • @abitu13 and where would it go? to the jungle to either starve to death or get shot and killed by humans? she looks happy so shut the hell up and go get eaten by your dog.

  • holy shit look at those fangs

  • yep it's all fun until someone gets eaten

  • Comment removed

  • @shempmocurly according to your mom, that's when the fun doubled

  • so awesome

  • Poor thing. Sucha small enclosure... Makes me sad

  • you know what im ganna get one and train it and love it :)

  • Wow! So you really and legally own her? If someone she didn't recognize came to see her would she attack him/her? Or just knock him/her down gently?

  • She's beautiful. Her fur must feel so soft.

  • Lazy tiger :)

  • needs some large logs and trees in there

  • awww i was whistling to her, trying to call her lmao

  • chillin. like a boss

  • why does she sound like a cow?

  • so adorable.... this tiger looks in great shape, and so loving

  • @djgata

He obviously loves and cares for his big cats (Not saying you are saying otherwise, but I'm sure some people watching this video think so)

  • So funny how they act just like housecats, and yet due to their scale, playful behaviour can be dangerous.... I would never own one, even if I had the means, but as a cat lover I envy you for being able to work with such beautiful animals!

  • @TheItalianCatwoman I think it's a collar. It's not tight, and you can tell it's not bothering her. If it were doing anything bad, it would have chaffed the fur off, like on the dog when we took it home from the shelter.

  • 0:17 what beer does to a man :)

  • She acts just like my pcat O_O funny how they are so alike

  • A cat is still a cat, no matter how big it gets.

  • sound like my dad when he's dreaming.

  • what i don't understand is that if dog breeds are not individual subspecies, created by man using selective breeding, for example a Great Dane to a Chihuahua. isn't it possible to create a selective small breed of tiger to have as pets?

  • @13lade23 you can try to breed them so they have a more relaxed temperament, but they will always be rather wild and unpredictable. it won't be safe to keep them as pets

  • @13lade23 Judy Sudgen is trying to make, using domestic short haired tabbies, what she calls a "Toy Tiger" or "Toyger" If you just wikipedia "toyger" you'll get more information, but there isn't a lot at the moment.

Probably not what you were thinking of, but its also probably a lot safer for everyone involved.

  • @13lade23

Technically, yes, but based on the fact that a concentrated breeding program took 40 years to domesticate foxes, which mature much faster than tigers, the process would take centuries.

  • It's obvious you guys care a lot for your animals. I'm glad that, despite all the propaganda out there, people can forge this bond, and keep the animals in their care healthy and happy. You guys do awesome work!

  • cant be the same tiger as previous nvideo i watched... talking to herself... This animal is happy and feeling good about companionship :) shes incredible

  • she's beautiful

  • Oh my God. Every time,EVERY TIME I click on an animal video, there are people bitching about literally everything.

She looks happy, give it a rest and stop fighting, geez.

  • kitty

  • cutie cat

  • It looks like she's flirting. XD 0:40

  • tigers are not pets..

  • what kind of tiger is she?

  • one of the cutiest thing ever.

  • Go get that poor tiger out of that stupid cage and let it free you jerk!

  • @SAGuineaPigLover And where exactly do you expect her to go?

  • yes she loves you and she is happy but wild animals ARE NOT PETS!!

  • @JazinJess Well, aside from the fact that all pet exotics are born and/or raised in captivity and would not survive in the wild, what wild are you talking about? No, really, what physical location would you suggest putting this creature in that is not overrun with vicious wildborn tigers, used by countless poachers, and has a food source capable of sustaining a full grown tiger?

  • @DayDarkProductions I said they are not pets not throw their buts in the wild. Ever helped feed, clean up after them? I HAVE! So when I say they are not pets thats because I have seen big cats who were bought as pets than abandoned or miss treated when they got older. People see a video like this and think this person bought this tiger as a pet when it was probably a rescued from some ignorant person in the first place! So I will say it again THEY ARE NOT PETS!

  • @JazinJess Why yes, I have. BigCatHaven is a RESCUE ORGANIZATION! So don't bash on them!

  • @DayDarkProductions First off I never bashed these people who work their butts off every day to care for these animals I said that these animals are not pets and even said they probably rescued that tiger from someone who bought it as a pet. Second ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS YOU NUT! Go find something else to debate about. I only keep watching this video because I love the sound of the tiger chuffing...and because the sound confuses my cat.

  • Do you honestly think that domesticated cats actually are domesticated or pets for that matter?

Tell me, what is the actual difference between a feral Maine Coon and one living under a house? Nothing.

Cats by their very nature are never actually domesticated. They just get friendlier to humans. And it doesn't matter the species or breed of the cat, because ALL cats are the fucking same. Fucking dog lover.

  • @SmartGuy4today Actually, that's what domestication IS: breeding for friendliness. The traits that we happen to associate with domestication in dogs, such as rolled tails, floppy ears, and the like, are traits that pre-existed in their genetic code and that were uncovered through breeding. They came with. See the Russian experiments on silver foxes for more.

  • Are those cow like noises coming from the tigress???

  • it sounds like a cow lol

  • She loves you! To those who are talking about them belonging in the wild, they need to get that this girl is well taken care of, and that most tigers that are born in the wild no longer survive. Okay, yeah it's **the willldd!!!** but guess what? It's not all it's cracked up to be. Depending on their location, they lose their homes, have issues getting food, or are killed by humans in tribes, or are poached, or multiple of these, usually all. The wild isn't the best place to be right now.

  • @starshine94 Yeah it must be fun to have a chain around your neck!

  • @BoneBeast Honey, she's chuffing. She's fine.

  • This cat belongs in the wild, or in a sanctuary.

  • @megs2401 It is in a sanctuary, Big Cat Haven is a great home.

  • "pet"?

Tigers should be in the wild.

  • I love the fact she's chuffing that much! :)

  • you are soo lucky.

  • How does one best imitate their chuffing?

  • i got to say awesome but tiger need a bigger place with some trees and stuff

  • Pet?? Yeah right, one day your "pet" is gonna make you her dinner

  • Awww. What a sweet tigress~ I wanna go to a zoo and play with some Tiger cubs now :')

  • 0:28 I so happy that I hug myself :3

  • Tigers can mewl?

  • In soviet russia sweet tigers own you.

  • at the beginning the tiger swipes at the camera as if she is saying, Aww u woke me up. Go away. Really good video.

  • That's not a tigress, it is a tigon.

  • Aw, she acts like my house cat :D I love how she is so relaxed that her claws aren't even out. Sweet!

  • Wow, I've never heard a tiger chuff that much in such a short period of time. She is very happy and relaxed.

  • Of course she is. All cats are happy to be massaged by a human. We call it petting, they call it a massage. You would too if you were massaged like a cat was.

  • cute

  • suicide dog at 2:19 to 2:39 i mean how can u be a dog and bark at a tigre O.o

  • @bunicarica Self-explanatory; it's a dog. They're nice when they're quiet, but annoying as heck when they're loud. They'll bark at anything that moves. The guy living across the street from me has 2 pugs that NEVER SHUT UP and bark at me when I'm all the way over in my yard.

  • @bunicarica Tigers are giant pussies, I bark at them all the time.

  • @bunicarica that dog just has the balls to do so

  • Yeah, Tiger looks at Dog, licks its lips. Leaps at dog, kills it, then eats it.

  • Non va tenuto prigioniero.

  • I take it you feed this animal very well to keep yourself from getting on the menu, right?

  • Hey nice cat jail. Sweet chain around her neck. I bet she's real happy and not DESPERATE TO GET OUT BECAUSE HER LIFE SUCKS.

  • @CuddlyBadger Shes extremely happy to be chuffing that much

  • So one day I was walking my dog, and I happened to see someone walking her tiger. I casually thought to myself, "WHAT THE FUCK??????"

  • shes beautiful!

  • Beautiful creature, but also deadly.

  • such wonderful animals

  • SSo cute! She was tired there in the beginning.

  • this kust goes to show that they can be somewhat of a pet. Look what we did with dogs. They were wild once, it tooks a long time but they are "mans best friend".

  • How long do these tigers spend in their cage. Where and When do you let them run and play with other tigers ? I have two finches and let them fly out of their cage daily for hours.

  • 1:07 "psshh, you show-off with your stupid camera thingy. I'm the fuckin' tiger here, respect my authoritaaw"

  • my cat does that rolling around on her back and looking cute thing... then when you try to pet her she CHOMPS you and looks amused by it. KITTY TRAP. :D

(of course my cat only weighs 9 pounds)

  • its sher kahn! lol

  • damn must have taken years to train that big guy to trust ya

  • What's his/her name?

  • And the tiger goes... Moooooo!

  • do you consider this animal a good pet ?

  • @Inaki2794 No. It should be raised to help keep the tiger population alive. Not as a "pet". It takes years of hard work and LOTS of money to care for a big cat. It also requires an exuberant about of time to care for them. Please considered volunteering at a big cat shelter rather than owning one. I'm only saying this, because unfortunately people go into this without doing the research and the animals end up abandoned.

  • you can so tell these animals are loved..... Bless you

  • i don't like to see animals in cages. but, i do think these people take better care of their exotic cats then many other people, they give the animals a lot of space, it 's quiet, and most importantly their big cats aren't forced to walk on concrete but actual soil.

  • @princessofbalance yeah and i mean think about it, which person, wouldnt like to have a free big home with everything they essentially need, no competition, predators, free food and infinite affection, if i was a big ass cat, id love to live like that, prekilled hairless and skinned meat, tummy tubs on command, life is better for these cats than most people around the world.

  • She is so sweet - chuffing away and talking! What is her name?

  • her body was found 6 hours later in pieces.

  • the sound that she is making is her purr. my cat I own makes a funny purr that sounds like a sneeze and dino.

  • That tiger looks just like my cat.

  • for those who have a problem with the cage and the chain... all animals start wild before they are domesticated. if people thousands of years back were like you and thought that caging wild cats and dogs was cruel, then they wouldn't be pets today. i do not see any evidence of mistreatment of the tiger.

  • @charimal which is why we have wolves in our living rooms, wait no, no wolves. Is it because it took thousands of years to breed the don't eat me gene into them and get the modern day dog, and wolves are pack animals to start with tigers are not.

  • Look how discustingly small the cage is. And notice the chain around its neck so they can tie it up to the fence whenever they please. Hope the majestic beast rips you fuckers apart and takes back its freedon

  • @mashedup1987

Not to be rude but if I were you, I wouldn't go around assuming things like that. You don't really have all the facts here. This tiger is shown to have a lot of space in other videos, and if the cage was really too small for it anyway, it would be pacing around endlessly. Seeing it relax like this is a pretty good sign. And just because it has a chain, it doesn't mean that the people taking care of it are abusive. I'm sure it's just out of caution.

  • never think a tiger will forever be sweet and lovable. their instants are to be wild and one day this tiger will become violent...just saying :/

  • Dude in the beggining he is just CHILLIN, like go away its nap time xD

  • so lucky to have a job like this! tigers are my fav animal

  • What a breathtakingly beautiful animal!

  • Very cute, but you have big brass balls gal! I think if I had the money, 65-70lb cat would be my limit. X-D

  • Its love take a tiger into a small cage with a chain around the neck ??

  • Well that was adorable. :) Whats with the chain on her neck though?

  • Sure, we can have Lions and Tigers as pets...

    But not PENGUINS?! XD

  • are you guys a rescue or just owners?

  • dude how are you not scared i mean i love animals but a tiger ill get scared you may not know when they attack are you on your guard all the time when she gets up

  • Disgusting. That poor tiger.

  • look at her...sweet tiger... :)

  • that is not normal behavior of wild animal.dont take tiger as your pet,it belong in the wild

  • i got the chance to rescue 2 day olds tigers one stayed at the biggest zoo here in PR. over Mayaguez and the other one stayed with me. He now is 5 months old and BIG. I feed him milk when he was a baby and now he protects me lol. He follows me everywere i go in my backyard. I cat wait for him to get that big!! FOR READERS CONCERN : I have permit to own this wild animal in my house + i got 6 acres (sry 4 my bad english). DO YOU GET INTIMIDATED?

  • That is adorable! I want a big cat pet :(

  • why the shackles?

  • 0:35 do I hear a cow in the background?

  • i hope it mauls you

  • regardless of what you believe, 10-15 years is all these animals have left in the wild. maybe 20.

  • if this doesn't happen to all of the remaining tigers... these creatures will soon have nowhere "wild" to live. 7 Billion humans and growing, the only ones of their species to survive of their species to go into the future are those who are domesticated. The one's who are submissive enough to retain themselves will continue to evolve as captive in humans hands. This is reality. Pretty soon, the only tigers left are those protected by their owners... Because you can't change environmental damage

  • Gawd, some people in here are stupid (not totally surprised) These animals are not domesticated, but they can be normalized around people. It happens all the time. If you are educated, permitted, and patient, nuthing will go wrong. Its actually very rare for a person WHOM KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING to be hurt by their exotic animals. And to moOswe, the "Bear Guy" that was killed...he was killed by wild bears...in...the wild, totally untrained animals. There is no comparison.

  • What kind of idiot would lock a wild animal up in a cage and keep it there with nothing to do? They are meant to be in the wild, not be a show piece and collect dust in some American ghetto. Also, the place looks like shit!

  • There was this guy who loved bears. He had lived 20 years with bears around him. They found that guy dead and half eaten. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

  • hehe she's beautiful!!!

  • If I ever got a big cat I'd be interested in a Cougar, what are they like in personality?

  • Omg I LOVE that chuffing sound<33333

  • What does that "chuffing" sound mean?

  • haha man people are fucking retards (the ones leaving hateful comments.)

get over yourselves you dumb fucks.

  • im going to have to report this video keeping tigers as pets is ilegal

  • @dreamrealm3 You can get a permit to adopt these exotic beasts. But it needs to renewed EVERY year and in some states Yes it is completely illegal in some states, but that is besides the point. Idiot.

  • @dreamrealm3 lol, it depends on where it is

  • All your animals are beautiful, especially the cougar, I like it A LOT! It was so adorable, do you still have it? And you are very lucky to have these kind of animals, and I am sorry for all the hate comments you get :(

  • it is like a big dog

  • What a beautiful tigress. :) I hope hope she (along with yourself and all the other companions you have) are well :D

  • is she your tigress?is it legal to have a tiger as pet?just wondering, not judging

  • I have to say that I can observe the tiger's desire to go outside. It's very sad to watch an animal like that caged. I am not criticizing or judging you. I am just expressing my feelings on the matter. I don't know the size of the lot that you have. However, I certainly feel that if you plan to own exotic cats, you should have have a large lot. Whether these animals are captive or not, they should be able to have the space they need to run around.

  • she sounds like a cow, lol.

  • She is just lovely <3

  • very lazy fuking tiger get up and kill her?

  • its impolite to not chuff back

  • this relationship towards human is nothing compare to lion called christian

  • 00:18-00:22 lazy couch potatoe

  • Lol, when it was lying down it reminded me of a game called "Black & White".
