I love how people are complaining that there's no cheesy slasher movies on here. Jason, Freddy, Jigsaw, Michael Meyers, and the like don't have any complexity behind their character. They just kill people and that's that. Movies like Monster help you at least identify with the killer a little and they actually seem more like a real person and not some mindless zombie.

Jigsaw/Jason/Freddy/Michael are not serial killers. they do kill people but in their own special ways that doesn't make them a serial killer but it still makes it a slasher film. Yes Leatherface from the TCM is a killer but not like a proper serial killer. he only lives in texas killing people with a chainsaw and that's really it. Oh and IT from the film IT is basically like a ghost-clown-Freddy all in 1 that kind of thing.
