  • is there in Dubai!!! plz can anyone answer!! thnx.

  • is this true???????

  • haha, To get a job there you actually only need your PPL!

  • the amazing thing about home sim is the attention of detail/customization one is willing to go

  • Noob.

  • Can you tell me where you can buy one like This one?

  • Noob.

  • LUCKY KID!!!

  • WTF I SO WANT TO TRY ONE OF THOSE FLIGHTS

  • no matter how good a simulator is it still is not a real aircraft. There is no air pressure applied to them. I think they could make simulators better and perhaps have models of airplanes mounted in high pressure wind tunnels. I think that is the next step in simulators to have real air pressure sensations but then again it would proabably be cheaper to use the real things.

  • It's an experience and they cost 10 million dollars each and you will probably need a warehouse

  • @Brad5312

these particular motionless simulators cost between $750,000 and 1.2 mil nzd

  • Was this in Hong Kong?

  • @CathayGuy It was in Auckland, NZ but you can go on the same type of simulator in Hong Kong

  • @SimmonsAirplanes I know, I was able to go to Hong Kong, use their simulator and come back before you replied to my comment. : ) haha

  • looks cool but i prefer doing the real thing

  • 2:26 WTF sound is this :D

  • were did u buy it and how much does it cost pls reply

  • where i can buy one of those and how much space i need to place that sim

  • Perhaps the kid should have had a shot at something called "Multi Crew Experience" in FSX or FS9 before going through this intimidating session, where he is just a spectator.

  • was it motion?

  • @777Plox no

  • is it possible to come to pilot college and ask to fly on simulator????

  • paraskevas15 is right where do you find one like that????

  • guys do you know where can we find a simulator like that?> thanks

  • was ist des ?

  • What's with the chicken at 2:27 ? =O)

  • When I got a sim ride at LUV there were rubber chickens hanging from every sim. The pilot said that it kept the computer snafus away. Dunno if it's a pilot joke or sim joke; but it seems to be universal.

  • @cyberyiyo got stuck in the engine :D lolol

  • Where can you do this ?

  • I want the Windshear warning.

  • Wow, hahahah, I liked best the "before take off checklist" run-through :)))))))))))))))))) - priceless!!! This guy in the FO seat looks like hi spent about 20 years on 737 planes!!! Nice video! :)

  • 1. Boy

    2. Yes, based on FS2004

  • you can rent a full motion 737 for 550 an hour and a 767 for 850 an hour here in vancouver b.c

  • To the guy behind building the Sim how did you do the view projection? Where did you get the TQ?

  • how old is the guy in the captains seat?? he looks young!! l but he did well

  • was around 12 at the time

  • how much does that cost in us$?

    please answere......

  • a lot, be sure of that

  • Systems vary from the upper 6 figures all the way into around $50,000,000.

  • what if you were to do a full sized cessna 152 fuselage cut in half welded to a platform with either hydraulic or pneumatic accuators to make an almost full motion full sized cockpit sumilator replacing the gauges in the panel with fligth sim gauges and everything else that would be freekin sweet cause i know where to get a cessna fuselage thats kinda damaged and isnt being used right now for any purpose.

  • if someone knows tell me

  • Flight is NZ$250

    Sim is NZ$1 million

  • those arent open to the general public. its usually around $2,000/ HR when the airlines use it to train one of their pilots! unfortunately since 9/11, you have to know someone who works there to get you in

  • The flight itself costs around NZ$250 which would be something under US$200 with the current exchange rate, I think.

The simulator costs over US$1 million

  • lol pushin the rudder pedals to steer?.....aint gonna work.

    use the tiller.

  • In fact both work...

  • then sim is messed up. In a 737 the only way to turn on the ground is with the tiller.

you can use diffential breaking but you wouldnt turn very good.

    in fact.

I flown the real 737 for many years.

  • Brilliant mate!!! Im going to see if perhaps I can try my hand at a pro-training simulator in Toronto. There aren't many places here that do this sort of thing unfortunately. You did a great job. Well done!

  • UMMMMM the fuel cutoff switches were closed when she asked if this is a problem. Prob not a very good sim

  • where can u try this ?.. do u have to be an aspiring pilot before getting access to it ?

  • i would wear my yankee cap and fly this baby..

  • Give the kid a break. It;s all good fun.

Though the engines shouldn't be able to run without having the engine start levers in idle detent, which suggests its not a level D sim.

In my opinion the instructor should have noticed this long before taxiing on to the runway because the engine start levers are part of the Before taxi check list.

Don't let all the jealous types upset you and go for it.

    Keep up the good work,

    greetings from the Netherlands

  • did I ever use the word 'noob'? No.

I never said you didn't know how to fly a 737...Helps to look before you write...

  • LMAO!! im sorry da whole convo below was sooo funny lol but nice video tho i would love to go into one of those simulators

  • Lewis, you try and explain to wekwafe what an absoloute d**k he is being! Thank you! I have no more energy to talk to someone like this!

  • cool

  • guy is newbie..

u got to go through pre flight check list..

  • The great thing is that we actually did before. I didn't add it into the video because I only wanted the take off to be in this video, as it is.

Helps to think before you write...

  • Do you not think they might have done it before they got to the threshold? Ya, that is why it is called 'Pre-flight checklist', you noob!

  • He's like me, knows way too much about 737s

  • Hello Lewis, nice vid, is this at flight experience?

  • There is NO age restriction to use this sim, they are open to the public. Time goes but very quick in a sim so the instructors have to cut things down like check-list most of are by memory. And you bet that this fire the interest of ppl wanting to fly! Hey so good luck to all you young pilots out there!

  • Hey, Just a bit of info on this for you all.The simulators are hand made by Pacific Simulators In Christchurch New Zealand. They bulid not only for "Flight Experience" or public intertainment but also for pilot training. So far there are 2 Sim's in Auckland,NZ. 1 in Tauranga,1 in Wellington 1 in Christchurch, 1 in Melbourne,2 in Sydney, 1 in Brisbane and 3 in Dubai (doing real pilot training,)

  • can any one try one of these if he is under 16?

  • Yup, any age really

  • @11cored11 yes

  • @SimmonsAirplanes WHere is this?

  • @MusicLover11325 New Zealand

  • where did you go to rent the sim?

  • SORRY IS THAT AT HOME,?

  • i have around 250 hours, have experience with such delicate airplanes as the Diamond DA-42 Twin Star, but to be in a simulator like this is still a dream for me. lucky you got there!

  • Shit, are you like teenager? If you are your very lucky to be in a simulator.

  • holy sh** my sister!!!!!!!!!!!!srry guys, tht dumby knows my password

  • awesome cockpit and nice flyin! thx for the vid

  • Jesus, this guy is just having fun.

Why are you guys criticising his video and flying capabilities? All pilots Commercial or Private commence training on a simulator and make al lot of silly mistakes, the whole reason why the simulator is required.

I say good on him, he bothered to pay for the simulator, record it and post it. Great Video, ignore the criticism and do your own thing.

  • I love how the man went throught the checlist in like 10 seconds.

  • 1. its a sim, the engine won't fall off. 2. its an entertainment sim not a pro one, so it doesnt matter. 3. get lost. how does aeronautical experience reflect turning left or right. if i didnt ask and ended up going right and then yanked to the left, you would have abused me for that instead, so infact I will take your comment as a compliment because it makes me more pro ;). Finally, get a life, and FYI, i have 40 hours towards my PPL so go find someone else to abuse about lack of experience

  • Wow 40 hours. I'm still at 13 for mine. Hopefully once I get into college those hours will sky rocket.

  • just be happy yoru fortunate enough to get those hours

  • Didn't look like a yank to me.

  • omg cant a guy just have some fun without being criticised by some cocky little kid. and ure a 12 year old not a pro pilot. So stop tryin to be such a little smart arse.

  • A 12 year old can dream can't he? He's not trying to be a smart ass.

  • @Apollo580 i just had my first flight yesterday :D

  • @assassinstorm12 Nice man! You're well on your way. :)

  • shut up butt fuck! he fly just fine, he advancesd thrust just fine, advanced a little, let the engines stabalize, and go on the rest of the way to 95% N1 for takeoff, and he rotated just fine as well!

  • Advance the thrust levers to 40% N1 untill they stablise, Call power stable, Push the Toga buttons on the Throttles and advance the thrust levers to the derated selected N1 Setting (Around 92-98%N1) and monitor the engines untill 80 knots, call 80knots (Because this is the speed where the t/o will only be aborted for a serious problem) at V1 Move hand from thrust lever to yoke as the t/o will not be aborted for any problem, Nose up to 15-17 degrees to maintain V2+10, positive climb gear up.

  • sk8forlife99 Your a dumb shit who knows nothing about aviation, Learn to spell aswell you imature nob. the t/o was done by someone who just wanted to have fun, and not fly to airline procedures.

  • Auckland, New Zealand

  • hey where is this??????????????????????

  • How much money one hour

  • $25.00 US Dollars is my guess

  • You are looking at roughly NZ$100 an hour.

  • Uuum..You're from Australia right.

  • this is in New Zealand. I am a New Zealander

  • and proud of it

  • Have you ever taken any lessons in a real aircraft?

  • I dont get it. why do most co pilot help the pilot on holding the throttle control? those the throttle pull back if you let it go?

  • because if the captain wanted to abort it would be dangorous so the co pilot has his hand on the captain so if he panics he wont be to abord take off and the co pilot would support him

  • its also if for any reason the captain loses control due to illness or something other. really its just a tradition now

  • I have flown Microsoft sims for a while but I recently got in the "real" kind and it was amazing!

  • what game is that??

  • I was just saying I had played Microsoft flight simulators on my PC but once I got into something like the one in the video, it was almost real. There's really no comparison

  • and you are 1993?

  • IS that a kid or a women?

  • These are awesome. I've logged some hours in the 737 simulator @ Dallas/Love field, SouthWest's main hub & the UPS 757 sim in Louisville Ky. I'm just waiting for the day i'm on a commercial flight and the stewardess(Hot) comes running into the coach section, and explains the crew have all been stricken from food poisoning (they had the fish) and asks if anyone can fly a plane, and i'm all like "Ah, hells yeah!"

  • Attendant: Excuse me sir, there's been a little problem in the cockpit...

    Striker: The cockpit...what is it?

Attendant: It's the little room in the front of the plane where the pilots sit...

  • Lol - do you also speak jive?

  • lol then tell all the people that i dont really have my linense with me BAIL OUT LOL

  • i want to do this for my Birthday. Cant wait

  • That's so cool

  • I have done the same thing but in Sydney, It's great fun.

  • Ah the one in Darling Harbour. I visited their store a few days ago when I flew over there. Also caught sight of the A380 quickly and stood right infront of it.

  • Yeah, I am going on the one at my home town on the Gold Coast, which will be fun, I also booked 2 first class seats on the first avaible flight from qantas to LAX from MEL

  • Do u know if there's one in Honolulu lol?

  • There isnt but the company is expanding fast so keep an eye out!

  • Very cool. It´s a dream of every flightsimmer.

  • nice fly man.really cool simulator.

  • Are they using Vatsim?

  • no. this simulator has custom software which includes an ATC package.

  • where do you go to do this this

  • Botany Downs in Auckland, New Zealand

  • Well that sucks, I live all the way in Houston, Texas in the United States.

  • Airline training centers usually let the public fly for a price.

  • Oh really, I better check that out, I know Continental Airlines headquarters is hear in the heart of Houston.

  • i knew it, i want to go to CHC

  • Man, I wish I had one of those things.

  • he doesn't no were the gear up is!?!

  • wat are u talkin about

  • dude, i was wondering if i could sit on that chair!

  • you luck son of bullshit.

  • You try this at Gatwick, but it is a bit pricey though. Nice flying.

  • very good

  • This was really cool!

  • lol.... *fuel to cutoff*... "umm is this a problem"... "errr... yes is it" :P

i wish he had done that while flying!!!

  • So very cool. Good for you guys!

  • Where abouts is this simulator and is it open to the public.. How much is involved im a Private Pilot and would love to try this out

  • Man I'm green eyed!!

  • well done mate! very nice!! how did you get a real simulator in your house?

  • you lucky son of a shit

  • wow great vIdeo!!!!

how much it is when you fly in a simulator???

  • that dude is the man. And to think i know him...oh yeah!!

  • do I know you?

  • Does anyone know where you can rent one of these in the United States?

  • If you look up local airline training centers, you can usually hire them out there.

  • orospu cocuğu!

  • THAT Kid is lucky

  • ARGH!!! your so lucky

  • I just did that 3 months ago and im 14 hehehe. i have flight simulator x and im a pro :) and where were you flying i flew sydney to melbourne. the pilot said i had the skill to become a pilot i go for my ppl in 2 yrs.

  • Cool good luck for your PPL. im flying some small planes and 13 ;D check out one of my videos

  • THanks i will right now

  • Hi.I've watch your vido with the Cessna.Very cool! What's a PPL?How can you flight a cessna at 13? I thout it was 15 for starting.

  • The limit is 15 in europe but only for the solo flight. You can fly an aircraft at 7 years old or even earlier. Actueally my first flight was at 9. And PPL refers to "Private Pilot License"

  • So you can fly if you are with an adult.

Is there a limit of age for the PPL in Europe?

  • In Europe you have to be 14 to start logging hours (counting experience) towards your PPL. At the age of 16 you can fly solo (subject to the instructor letting you, and you doing what you are told). You must be 17 before you can finally qualify for the full PPL and take passengers.

  • ok, thanks a lot!

  • Also want to add that it has to be a qualified instructor who is with you, in order for you to log the hours towards a licence.

  • The kid in the left seat looks about my age. I wish I was him! I have the PMDG so I could do that.

  • lol me 2

  • i jealous . lucky guy . hopefully i'll get to fly the real thing one day

  • That wasen't the fuel cut off it was parking brakes notice the light.. also the is the NG series of the 737 all glass more than likley the 800. good rotation a little faster on the gear up check.

  • boeing N120 turn left heading 240 decend and maintain 1000 expect victors ils runway 23r approach. 140 knots is the final approach speed. roger boeing N120.

  • yeah thats true the engine could of shut off when you guys tookoff

  • is this the 800- series?

  • silly but good

    xxxxxx

  • i am jealous and that isn't good lol :)

  • dude that is friggin sweet i wanna do that lol

  • iv done this its in darking harbour its FS2004 :)
