Turk was a very special guest. I have followed him since the early fifties in Holland when I started playing.Then in 79 he came to Toronto and was actually a bit nervous in joining us. As you can see he did a great job. You still play or own that 1961 brass horn?

these guys were very lucky to play with the great Mr. Turk Murphy....gave me my first brass horn!!! 1961....
