FYI - this event is part of a week of fund-raising at the high school called "share joys" that has raised over $785,000 since its inception in 1958. last year, $45,950 was raised (over $16,000 from the donut contest alone). the money is used to buy CLOTHING for children in need within the school district. over 200 students receive much-needed clothing and shoes each year. the generosity of our students, staff, & community should be commended. what have YOU done for children in need lately??
