@TylerHulsey hey yeah your right i remember my mom telling me about this when i was little and they did leave that part out. But i went there a few years ago with my dad and i saw the face it was cool but really creepy at the same time.
I wrote a book of poems and stories related to growing up in and around Carrollton, AL. I included about twelve pages of a well researched story of the face in the window. Mrs. Johnson informed me that my book was a pack of lies and they would not accept any donation from me because my version of the death of Henry Wells did not agree with theirs
I have to wonder if the donations are to save the face or change history to their liking. My book is " Yesterday I Touched the sun" Interesting.
