the bass & congas make this... kc's voice is underrated. if u listen close you hear elements of al green & ray charles.... this was in miami when they were still mainly a local phenom... w/in a year of this they would be mega-stars... cool thing about kc, to this today they've never forgotten miami & honor the city to this day. all still residing there.
If you ever get to see the entire concert footage, it's awesome!!! (my client is the bassist and KCSB's co-founder, music and concert producer Rick Finch). Occasionally you'll find the VHS concert footage on eBay. Well worth it!
