  • Ya'll do realize that this was a movie right?

  • This movie should be called "Dark Night of the Fat Man"! XD

  • There you go . Poor women looses her only son and now she's going to have a breakdown, because the kid cann't stay off other people's property.

  • Where are her parents already. Keep an eye on your brat until someone else gets hurt .

  • Otis P. Hazelrig, your local, friendly postman. One thing I like about this movie is the depth it gives the relationships between the characters..Hazelrig may just be a postman, but he is a white collar worker..so once Bubba is gone, he wants nothing to do with the other guys..the scene at the boarding house exemplifies this well..it's not just out of being 'found out' but you can tell he just hates associating with those guys (though he seems to be friends somewhat with Hawker).

  • @MarcusAlexander19 Otis is a creepy loner who has issues like his intentions with the girl Thats why he hated bubba He wanted to be that close to her but for obvious different reasons. Those inner demons and dark secrets is what kept him being one of the boys. Those guys are just good old fashioned stupid rednecks Who were lead by seemingly normal good old boy But who's actually a very wicked sinister evil person Who will stop at Nothing to keep his twisted secret as we see later with Hawker.

  • @LVSWTZ it says ''Hocker'' on the mailbox. what a great name!!

  • @niteholler okaaaaaaaaaay

  • I remember my mother remarking about how the mailman's only wardrobe was his work uniform. lol

  • I don't get it. Wouldn't everyone know that they commited the murder? Or are they talking about the fact that it wasn't for protection (as they claim), because everyone knows that they killed him (even if it was in self-defense).

  • @TheMikeyX it's more common throughout history than you'd think. regular folks vs the weird guy. people will deal with the cognitive dissonance of their murder by reminding themselves Bubba was weird, and even if he hadn't hurt the girl they'll say he 'probably would have, soon or later, he wasn't right' people will remember that these murders are 'ok guys otherwise, and it was an honest mistake, if I had thought he had done that i woulda...yadda yadda.'

  • I like how each part cuts just as a climactic moment!

  • We actually had something like this in California recently. 6 Fullerton cops beat a homeless man to death for entertainment (Kelly Thomas). Our state government has done absolutely nothing about in spite of overwhemling evidence. Pretty horrible.

  • @spraymalathionjerry Something very similar happened in Eureka, CA where a homeless man was beaten to death in jail because he refused to leave a homeless shelter, google Martin Cotton. I know his girlfriend who he had a child with.

  • @silicon605 You are a complete and utter moron. Rates in the U.S. for both murder and rape are down from when this movie came out. Try actually doing some research before spouting mindless drivel. Gotta love the internet. :-) It's idiots like yourself who help make it so enjoyable. :-)

  • @Nigelxman You are correct, the media lies about it because fear-mongering is good for their ratings.

  • @silicon605 Dude, what is your major malfunction? And what's with the fucking caps?

  • I guess plaid shirts were a great fashion then.

  • @LCMScorpio412 Until wankers in Seattles discovered them during the grunge era.

  • Those twisted vigilantes got what they deserved! Go Bubba!

  • @silicon605 The grinding machine death ( in the next part of this flick ) would be gory though if it were shown. You gotta consider that this was made for television which had guidelines.

  • The mailman is the only one that kept his killing attire on throughout the entire movie!!!

  • @deltasigmatheta4life you stupid!

  • 6:55-7:17, and so it begins.

  • This was one of my favorite childhood horror movies....gotta love Bubba trhe Scarecrow!!!!!

  • @missscorpion73 me too, though i did have a lot of sleepless nites after watching this

  • Charles Durning---his usual sexy self---as an alcoholic, pedophile postman!

  • "He's just being silly."

From that point on, that little girl just seems so... SINISTER!

IN the best possible way. ^^

  • What's this movie rated?

  • @Multigrunger Rated ''A'' for Awesome!

  • @Tuigi :)

  • The loser mailman lives at a boarding house...plus he is an old drunk.

  • @KellyGreen5555 and false accuser

  • The acting was so solid. The way the District Attonrey said he was going to get those vigilantes for murdering Bubba in cold blood you thought he was the one behind it ESPECIALLY when the MailMan explained how the scarecrow wound up in the field. The actress that played Bubba's mother made me think for a second that she might have had something to with the scarecrow appearing. The PostMan explaining all these weird things going on AFTER they murdered Bubba.

  • Well little girl Bubba is playing the never ending hiding game, like you cant find him or you can in . . . a . . . coffin . . . WHY?! WHY?! HE DIDNT DESERVE TO DIE!!! That's right little girl he's gone he past away =,(

  • totally remember watching this movie as a kid and being scared to death. I now remember why I am afraid of scarecrows........clowns too! :)

  • this movie is actually very scary..

  • @reggie02062 I love the build up when the redneck farmer's wife innocently asks him why he'd put up a scarecrow so soon. The background music cues in when the redneck farmer sees the EXACT same scarecrow bullet holes and all.You know he was in SERIOUS trouble.

  • @mr10tomidnight yesss that part was really scary just think about it your outside working not noticing the surrounding fields and there u look and something standing away out in isolated field also looking like some human thing all tattered, and torn the autumn wind blowing it's torn clothing heheheh

  • @mr10tomidnight Great moment!!

  • What on earth is the speed limit in that town?

  • AHHHHHHHHHHH! Oh it had just been Bubba's mom.
