No substantial part of the activities of _________________________________(your Church's name here) shall be dedicated to, or otherwise attempt to influence United States State or Federal legislation, and the corporation shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.
Form 1023 (which is the government application, i.e. contract, for tax exempt recognition) clearly and explicitly states that churches are already considered and recognized to be tax exempt even if they do not file for 501c3 status. That's because the 1st Amendment (still) prohibits the federal government (even to this very day) from making any law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. Churches are supposed to be under God and not under government.
@cometodoyourwill You know that is a good idea, I should have been doing that, but it has slipped my mind...Alot of the info I read is from Scott Johnson's PDFs that I have saved on my computer, but are no longer accessible on the internet so...Anyways, I will remember to do so, and will probably go back over these if I have time...

Why can't people make out of their homes to meet with each other for the purpose of Christ? Grant, for ever 14 member there is a little devil but we can't let that stop us. If Satan find his way into our homes, work places, and even in our place of Bible study and prayer, why do we find it so hard to believe that Satan is in the front row of our churches?
@ladyEulaelie people here in California have been arrested for having a weekly gathering (church) in their home. It's on youtube, check it out. I have been in a supposedly fundamental church for 8 yrs, and overnoght in 1 year exposed itself as emergent. (satans wiley works palnned in advance) I founs out many evil things in it, as to the money trail and seems like cia infiltration..I left it. It was a show church christian rock and no preaching of repentance Jesus a lucky charm. not sovereign
We are going to be worshiping together in Heaven. Why not do here on earth what you are going to be doing in Heaven?
