  • Piosenki Tiny dodają nam sił

  • Pulp Fiction xD

  • SEMPRE GRANDE TINA, BY PINUS.

  • Holy mole. This is amazing.

  • trying to see who did it the best? childish, isn't this a form of flattery? settle down some of you geez

  • STOP COMPARING THEM!!!!! We are not talking about any Glee-school-lightly-talented-wannebe-starlets! We are talking abot Dusty, Aretha and Tina! Real super stars, who absolutely have the right to sing that song. And each of them is just great!!!

  • Just heard Dusty's...I like it, but it doesn't have that SOUL, if you know what i mean! Tina = <3

  • If I'm lovin' Dusty, her version is the one, but if I'm lovin' Tina, only Tina will do.

  • Neither one of you Yokes even know the woman. Shut your dckholes!

  • The two versions are incomparable, really.

  • Sorry me just trying world.

  • shit

  • live babe live fuck you all if you dont like her pussies

  • @Vladan156 WHAT?????

  • tina troll turner

  • Some action for me to listen to. Can not say I do not like it!

  • SI..SI..SI...

  • i love this song i every versions

  • "beatin motherfukers like Ike beat Tina..." LOL who sang that?

  • love .-.

  • Tina can still belt em out :)

  • she can't beat Dusty Springfield for shit !

  • @mindah1000 calla rara!!!

  • hmz I'm 18 years schoolgirl

  • i like this version ^.^

  • ehm I am new here and i can be shy and nasty too

  • No doubt Dusty was great, but it was just as much the arrangement, musicianship, and backup vocals that made Preacher Man great.

Dusty in Memphis... what an ensemble!

  • Another one of the finiest female artists EVER - Rock on Tina -

  • She is just very talented. No matter what she performs, it works. She is one of those people given great gifts.

  • Sweet version by Mrs. Turner. Mhm.

  • i love this song. i loved it even without understanding it!

  • tinas version is better

  • @SuperTogona Hardly

  • hihi Hot, frisky and outgoing girl, who wants to have fun

  • It is Dusty Springfield, in 1968

  • search bolder gazet van antwerpen

  • I think Dusty Springfield is the original singer of this song or her's is the most well known version.

  • @chanterelle7 it's dusty's song

  • @namey420 this is so much better ;D

  • @ryangibbs17 i couldn't agree more tina put the soul into it

  • Okay who in the world is the original singer of this song?

  • @bookfiend2009 aretha franklin i think??

  • @bookfiend2009 dusty springfield

  • son of a creeper man!!

  • Ike was the stupidest man ever, to lose this woman.

  • Blacks stealing the white mans music again.

  • @faffaflunkie what are you talking about?

  • @faffaflunkie go burn crosses in the garden but get off you tube you moron.

  • @faffaflunkie Whites steal everything... Upset that we sing it better perform it better and all around soul.

  • @MrJLRJ1 misguided nigga...

  • @MrJLRJ1 you and flunky are both really stupid. Nobody stole this song. Just because people who sing it are of different races or nationalitys and they cover something someone else sang doesn't mean they're stealing it. Dusty did it first so if you want to be technical thinking your way Tina stole it from her which is the exact opposite of what you said. Nobody stole anything you folls.

  • @lasktguy Dusty made alot of money from Tinas version Im sure shes not complaning

  • @danngazz Why would Dusty make a cent off of Tina's version? She sang the song. She didn't write it. The people who wrote the song get paid when someone else sings or even plays their song. That's why you sometimes hear people say they wanted to use a song in a film or TV show but couldn't afford the royalty fee. Dusty got royalties from however many of the version that she sang sold, same as Tina got for her version, same as Aretha when she did it.

  • @lasktguy alot of people dont like to think about that because they are hypnotized into believing that artists sing and write their own music allt he time which is untrue as we both know. It doesnt mean the music isnt beautiful and it has stood the test of time for a reason.

  • Love that flatulence bass!

  • wow she fucked that song up

  • I remember Ike & Tine when they sang at Cisco's back in the early 60's Manhattan Beach CA. Owners at the time George & Shirlene Mootz. I was a teen but they never carded me. I didn't drink but did love the music there. :-)

  • this sung the way it should be by a southren black woman i love dusty but sorry tina got this shit on lock

  • @namey420 agree with this 100% this song did need a more voice with more soul

dusty's almost sounds innocent against the pure volume that tina can put out

  • @namey420 Disagree 100%. Dusty's version was and still is the best.

  • @whitbyjet65 I disagree with you lol it always has been and always will be ArethA Franklin. (-: but thats just my oppinion.

  • @MelanieTanner1976 I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid you're wrong.

  • @whitbyjet65 yeah I know but I just wanted to get in on the conversation and you kinda said what I wanted to say so .......... ya hugh lol. Seriously though Dusty Springfield was the best.

  • @MelanieTanner1976 I'm only kidding. I think Dusty's is the best but it's all down to personal preference, isn't it?

  • @whitbyjet65 lol so was I ......

  • @whitbyjet65 Bobby Gentry's version wasn't bad either.

  • @whitbyjet65 DUSTY AINT SHIT

  • @KRACKERJACK6913 I never said she was shit.

  • @KRACKERJACK6913 "DUSTY AINT SHIT"

Uh-huh, and now why don't you name for us all the hit records you were on?

  • Great rendition of Dusty's classic. Thanks Tina! Another great cover of this song was sung by Bobbie Gentry.

  • @citroen66 check out sara lofgrens version and watch and listen to saras version of honky tonk women may be most dynamic voice around

  • my favourite version of this song... soul at its finest

  • horrible

  • What year was this recorded?

  • there`s no better way to teach the son of a preacherman

    great tina - thanks

  • Dusty Springfield`s version is much much better, end of discussion.

  • Two completely different genres and singing styles...stop comparing and accept each for what it is.

  • @madlyderanged I agree with ya BOTH versions are great...even though Dusty Springfield's is the original...lol:) ~peace~

  • @madlyderanged Agreed...I love both versions and appreciate that Tina and Dusty are both talented singers ♥♥

  • Son of a preacher man is one of the best songs ever written!

  • didnt know ike turner was a son of a preacher man.

  • Pure funk!

  • shitty version

  • both have really nice voice and both songs are nice ....

  • fuck you RINGO721, tina is the QUEEN OF ROCK N ROLL

  • Jesus just got a boner xD

  • Jesus this is pretty bad. Dusty's was so much better. Tina didn't need to do this pukey cover

  • No, No, No, Dont compare tina to Dusty, hard to do,... As far as I'm concerned I like the original!!

  • Great job Tina, Dusty would have been honnored to have you sign this great song of hers!

  • @LeoNJMaisonneuve

    Amen to that.

  • Amazing. This should stand alone, right next to Dusty's version!

  • Its no Dusty....for sure

  • But that girl, Joss Stone, is simply AMAZING!!!

  • i remember dusty from the 1960s id say damn! that white girl can sing!

  • Its good but nobody can beat this song except the original.. rip springfield

  • @MsAchievementGuy Oh please, the original is SO OVERRATED.

  • and dont compare Beyonce to Tina either - beyonce is great and does her own thing!

  • SHM, I just figured out that Beyonce want to be TT...forget it Bouncy!

  • dont put down Tina, Ike put her through hell but she came out big beautiful and full of passion

  • HELL YEAH TINA

  • Som vanligt lyssnar och älskar, okej, det är bra.

  • When I think of my friend, Nathan, I think of this glorious track.

  • ive heard this song twice and <3 it

  • The Joan Osborne's version is excellent too

  • This is soul.

  • Really Great !! <3

  • She sucks dusty much better !!!!

  • @MegaClaudster uh uh....tina tears it up, aretha does also...dusty was good, but she was too cool, that song needs more emotion...

  • so massssssssive

  • janis joplin also can sing this song great

  • Only 2 people can pull this song off besides Dusty...is Tina, & Joss Stone.

  • @MrHeadscan I agree, it needs to be sung with soul. Joss Stone does an amazing perfomance. I have just posted a video of my 14 year old covering this. She has only just started performing and during the particular perfomance her boyfriend came to watch for the first time so she held back somewhat but I recon it still worth viewing. Please take a look and increase her views and like if you see potential. Thank you x

  • @mellovesdon Have you heard Bobby Gentry's version?

  • @pirbird14 No I hadn't heard Bobby Gentry's version. I've just searched it and I like her soulful voice but I have to say I still prefer Joss Stone's version : ) Any tips for my daughter would be welcome as she's thinking of performing Son of a Preacher for a talent competition, it's a big song and she's quite young so it's going to be a challenge.

  • @mellovesdon I'm no singing coach, but my suggestion would be to listen to as many other versions as possible to see if she can learn anything about their interpretations or their techniques. Be as honest as she can about what feelings she believes she can convey with this song and try to learn techniques that enhance these feelings.

  • @mellovesdon I don't know the age of you daughter. Quite young is vague. This a coming of age song. If she is 5 or less do it straight up and make it cute. If she'sbetween 5-11 make it campy (like Gilligan's Island).

  • @JoshyouwaMany agreed. I never heard Aretha's version til your post sent me looking - I prefer it to Tina's. Hard to beat the Queen of Soul. It's soulful without being brassy. She just moved into the number 2 slot of my top 3 favorite versions of this song. Aretha's voice can really cut through your soul like a knife. Fantastic.

  • check out Deni Hines version too a completely different interpretation. I love all 3 well actually there are probably 5 versions I love!

  • again simply the best...

  • Hope this is an ironic comment, but I doubt it. You're page posts indicate a typical 30 something, Reagan worshipping, Randian Retard.

  • Black people steal white culture again.

  • I dont speak Irish

  • God broke the mold when he made Tina. She is the queen of soul--love the fat bass line. rock on with yo bad sef Tina!

  • @majicray2112 Tina Turner the "Queen of Soul"? You been listening too much to Beyonce - who never did have a clue and even less talent. Aretha Franklin has had more #1 R&B singles than any other female recording artist and has been awarded 20 Grammys to Tina's 6. Tina has always been more "Rock" than "Soul" anyway, so there just isn't really any legitimate comparison. It''s a good joke though, calling Tina the "Queen of Soul" - it made me really laugh out loud.

  • @majicray2112

    Word, son!

  • @majicray2112 m sorry, but she aint no queen of soul, she might be the queen on rock'n'roll but Aretha Franklin IS the queen of soul =) P.S: I love both of them...Tina a bit more.

  • @SocialDemon09 AMEN!

  • PROUD SON OF A PREACHERMAN!!

  • Her voice soothes me.

  • TINA can SANG all the little wannabe singers nowadays follow in

    Tina's footsteps

  • sounds like she says son of a pizza man in places!

  • ur geiles lied

  • todays covers are like 1:1 the same as the original was, i like it that she made her own song out of it, that´s what a great artist is all about

  • @martina1563

    VOLLPFOSTEN !!!!

  • Hey--what more can you say? It's TINA!!!!

  • This cover is alot of more SASSIER!!!

  • I think the original so much better than this. Not much of a cover

  • HAMMER!!

  • i love dusty but tina kicked it

  • Tina's great, but have you heard Sarah Conner sing Praecher Man?Listen to THAT one and you'll all change your minds.....And what a great lookin' gal to boot......

  • @slanecastle57 kidding, right??

  • @slanecastle57

Listened to her and... sorry, didn't change my mind. No offence, I can enjoy her pop, but she is simply not the same league as a Tina Turner or Dusty Springfield...

  • Music is evolving...your comments can stop it.you can download the full album from downloadmusic.im

  • dusty's voice is like having your guitar on clean, but tina's is like putting the distortion to like 11 lol Great version of a great original

  • Dusty's version is fantastic... and so is this one!!! Tina's voice is great on this!

  • Tina aint no crackhead sorry your so wrong

go onto Whitney's video and make a statement like that Tina is a clean living

    country gal

I'm confused why do people get Whitney and Tina mixed up

    Whitney is the crackhead

  • tina turner is a great singer and there is nothing wrong with her version..

  • Tina, Tina, Tina!

  • Great rendition.

  • my dad is hell of a philisophy preacher :D for the girls that are listening to that song, i hope that counts :)

    thumbs up from germany.

  • she so great

  • Scam Newton

  • @TheRammaJamma 28-27! HATER!

  • @TheRammaJamma Just take the money and run lol

  • @TheRammaJamma 10 thumbs up!

  • Dusty is not the only one that can sing this song, that's absurd! but Tina should've left this alone. Tina has had a great late career but as singing goes Tina is overrated, sorry folks.

  • @konumers great late career?? and over rated singing, wow i dnt understand hw u can say tht

  • @moroney1 exactly, great late career, Tina didn't blow up until she was in her forties, remember she had been around for about 25 yrs before that. If you want to call what "Ike and Tina" was doing "great" that would be your questionable opinion. And yes Tina couldn't carry Dusty's suitcase in the singing department.

  • @konumers just cuz it wasn't tht commercially successful doesnt mean it wasnt great..??? Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limit, River Deep Mountain High are all beautifull covers and Tina sang with a shouty unfeminine sound tht was so different, look i don't want a fight, everyone has their preference. I foind Dusty a bit too generic, but hey thts just me, im not God's word!

  • thats dusty song the only that can sing the song

  • R.I.P. DUSTY SPRINGFIELD

  • mi piace l'arrangiamento soul dei fiati (c'è anche un basso tuba?)

  • LIVE FOREVER BABY

  • great job tina queen of music miss tina turner she never needed ike he needed her love tina

  • @brancool88 crack whore, wtf, she never did drugs?

  • @moroney1 ugh yea she did when she was wit ike

  • Please don't compare Dusty's and Tina's version - both are simply great !

    Thanks to both ladies !

  • @bobu46 exept that this one is better ! :D

  • @bobu46 Two totally different songs really, amazing singers both of them. you're quite right

  • @bobu46

I will beg to differ with you, on this one sir. Although Dusty is the owner of the original classic, I must say that Tina's version is one of those rare times when a remake surpasses the original. Granted, its a rare occurence, but this is an instance where it happens. Its a combination of the subject matter, the voice, soul and execution.

  • by the way,

    exceptional photo of Tina.

  • @MakisPyrgiotis Read this person's comment they know what they're talking about =] Tina has just got too much heart and soul. Love this woman! ♥

  • @MakisPyrgiotis yer crazy. I agree with bobu46 - both versions are great - but to state, or even imply, that tina surpasses dusty on this song is just plain ludicrous. i like them both, but you are way way off base here. dusty gives this song a classy feel that tina could never ever hit with her brassy style. both very soulful superbly done versions. if i was forced to pick - it would be dusty EVERY time. she touches a spot in my soul that tina misses.

  • @bobu46 Damn true bro :-)

  • dusty's version rules!

  • Comment removed

  • dose anyone have this on mp3? if so please send me :)

  • no she did NOT! classic. absolute classic.
