hahaha there is one turn that isnt even that scary because it is not very steep but there are these support bars that look like they are going to hit you in the head if you ride on the right side and my friend makes fun of me because when each bar comes i duck and go shit..shit..shit..SHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!

Same thing with the Son of Beast, they are closing it down for good this summer because a 70 year old woman rode it and complained of back injuries. Seriously? Lol you guys need to learn to count.. You go upsidedown 4 times: Twice in the Cobra Roll :14 once in the half-loop :21 and once in the corkscrew. :54 It may seem like you go upsidedown at other times, but it's just the 90-degree turns.

The lap bars used on Flight of Fear and other rides by Premier Rides are safe enough to hold you through any type of inversion. Most coaster manufacturers use OTSR's in their coaster cars because they appear safer and they keep insurance costs down.

There are 3 total elements (That invert), 1 corkscrew, 1 sidewinder, and 1 cobra roll. The cobra roll inverts twice, making the total number of inversions 4.
An element doesn't have to invert, but an inversion is always an element. For example, a hill is still an element, one called a camelback/bunny hop. It doesn't invert, but it's still an element.
So a coaster could have 5 elements, but only 3 inversions, or it could have 4 elements with 5 inversions.

Ok, it appears none of you know what you're talking about with the inversion thing. FoF has 4 inversions, consisting of one cobra roll, one sidewinder, then one corkscrew. That's only three elemnts, but the cobra roll counta as two. A cobra roll is a half loop, a large cutback, then a half loop in the direction it came in.
actually thats 3 ELEMENTS(FEATURES, whatever you want to call it), but 4 inversions. Every coaster that has a boomerang, cobra roll, or anything else where the one feature turns you over twice counts each inversion. Each time the train is rolled over into an upside down measurement. Montu(7), Vekoma Boomerang Coasters(6, 3 forward and 3 backward)I could go on and on, hope you get the idea.And this is way better than Rock N Roller Coaster in my opinion.the only bonus coaster has is the themeing

It is a spectacular ride. Don't see a need for shoulder restraints because the centrifugal force would keep you inside during the loops anyway.

There are 3 total elements (That invert), 1 corkscrew, 1 sidewinder, and 1 cobra roll. The cobra roll inverts twice, making the total number of inversions 4.
An element doesn't have to invert, but an inversion is always an element. For example, a hill is still an element, one called a camelback/bunny hop. It doesn't invert, but it's still an element.
So a coaster could have 5 elements, but only 3 inversions, or it could have 4 elements with 5 inversions.

....this ride doesn't have over the shoulder restraints but it goes upside down.... how/why is that???

it dosent have shoulder restraints because it never dose a full loop, it only dose twists. i dont know if that make since cus im no expert, im just making a guess.

Technically no. Shoulder restraints are just "safer". Personally thats why I love FOF so much. I hate shoulder restraints. But the elements of FOF don't really call for shoulder restraits, as you see. If it wasn't safe it woulnd't be open.

Ok, it appears none of you know what you're talking about with the inversion thing. FoF has 4 inversions, consisting of one cobra roll, one sidewinder, then one corkscrew. That's only three elemnts, but the cobra roll counta as two. A cobra roll is a half loop, a large cutback, then a half loop in the direction it came in.
Each of these elemnts can be seen in the video.
Cobra Roll - 0:11
Sidewinder - 0:18
Corkscrew - 0:52

actually thats 3 ELEMENTS(FEATURES, whatever you want to call it), but 4 inversions. Every coaster that has a boomerang, cobra roll, or anything else where the one feature turns you over twice counts each inversion. Each time the train is rolled over into an upside down measurement. Montu(7), Vekoma Boomerang Coasters(6, 3 forward and 3 backward)I could go on and on, hope you get the idea.And this is way better than Rock N Roller Coaster in my opinion.the only bonus coaster has is the themeing

I know it says 4 inversions, but a cobra roll (in the beginning) is 2 flips, but considered one inversion. It isn't called a cobra roll, cobra roll. It's just one. One whole inversion.
