HTC HD Mini Unlock Screen on an HD2

Hi I GOT A QUESTION I WANT TO BUY HD2 unlocked BUT I HAVE AT&T WILL I HAVE TO HAVE DATA PLAN WITH IT? I JUST WANT TO USE WIFI WITHOUT DATA PLANS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT?

HANDS DOWN, WM 6.5 LOCK SCREEN IS THE BEST! YOU TAP ON THE LOCK, IT GIVES YOU WHAT YOU MISSED. THEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY GO TO THAT CERTAIN MISSED NOTIFICATION BY SLIDING THAT LOCKSCREEN. IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU MISSED SMS, THAN YOU CAN SLIDE THE SMS LOCK SCREEN, THEN THE PHONE WILL TAKE YOU TO THAT MISSED SMS. NO OTHER SMARTPHONE OS HAS THAT FUNCTIONALITY AS FAR AS I KNOW. IF I AM WRONG, KINDLY CORRECT ME!

@CalamityCarlos I like the large screen but android is superior to windows mobile though. The new HD7 looks promising though. the new UI and oS looks much more up to date and different. You should root it and try to get WP7

I have a HTC HD2.. and I reset to factory setting.. and the lock screen doesnt appear anymore.. what should I do in this case? Please help..

how is it more functional?

the 6.5 lockscreen has the same exact thing, just a different unlock method, but the same thing. actually, i like the 6.5 lockscreen because it is nicer to look at and cooler

its more functional b/c you get more information as to sender and subject for the the email, sms, or missed call. My issue is that it is not at all intuitive. How is someone who's never seen a preview supposed to know slide down???

That unlock you've seen was Windows Mobile's native lock screen, this one is made by HTC and got included in their latest Windows Mobile-phone: the HTC HD mini
