after Brendan hired Ashley he said something about her being the fly to himself as the spider.the look on her face when she turned on that camera as Brendan starts going off on one saying he's invincible and all that other stuff.Brendan can't be that clueless HO writers.

Thank you for the thank yous. I loved this mad episode too. Just visually and because it was so unique for a soap opera apart from anything else. I love that Brendan is the character they want to try these new things with. Feel like lucky fans again.

I do not agree with Ash on her beliefs that Brendan is a psychopath. Yes, he shows antisocial behavior but there is one characteristic that is absolutely not compatible with the ASPD.

It is Brendan's deep love for Ste and for his son (for his sister, too). Lack of deep emotions is a typical symptom of an ASPD, though, and I just don't see it with Brendan.

So Brendan tries hard to be invisible, bulletproof he says. but love is ideas. you can kill a man but you can't kill ideas. the idea of having Ste and his son in his life is hard for him to push it away. that's where his weaknesses came. he just can't live without them no matter how hard he tried.

ok after watching this for the milliontimes i have three thoughts.

1:brendan as a god complex

2:brendan as a very good awareness of who he is,he is not just some damage person who do not understand why they are the way they are,its is choice to be who he is,yess the choices are shaped by his past.

3:i now understand why mitzee and joe were the major players in taking down warren,they were meant to reinforce brendan belief that other people makes you weak.

This episode was one of the best ever for this storyline. It was almost like a short film tbh. Sooo many epic moments: Brendan hinting that Ste is flexible, Brendan using the words gay and boyfriend, him actually talking about his homosexuality, him in bed with businessman, and him defending said man *jaw drops* So much revelations and progress in one episode!!! I freaking love Ash for giving us an insight into Bren's mind. She is a smart girl and picked up on Bren's issues with Ste.

I LOVE the constant bickering between Stendan and the little jabs they keep throwing at each other. Shows they care and want it BADLY. It being hot makeup sex :)

I guess it is kinda sad I can relate to how he thinks, I am still conflicted by those feelins but atleast now I know I realize It doesn't mean you're weak. Lovine everything that has been going on with Brendan, Ash, Ste, and now Declan is getting into the mix. Wow, the writers got me now and I can't wait to see what happens everyday. yeah Declan's back :) I'm loving this storyline, what is better than to get into the head of double B, and Ste is slowly getting involved with his stoyline aswell, and yes I want BB and Ste back together, had it been real life I'll want BB as far away from Ste as possible, but those two have so much chemistry it makes for deliciously good television :)
