Just started Age of Conan and am liking it so far. My fear is that with Aion coming out the game will be dead. Do you think it will survive? Is it worth playing as a newb.

Torn between a Dark Templar and Guardian, but I hear they are both gimpy vs mages. Is the Barb just as bad? I am not too fond of stealthing around, but I may have to go Assassin. Mages need the stabbie-stab.

Aion will last longer than AoC I'm sure of it. Already in Korea loads of people play it and it hasn't died yet, after what is it? 1,5 yrs? Well I hope u enjoy AoC and keep playing melees they're the funniest. AoC has the best melee system of all MMO's, too bad they had to give us too little things to do.

"the legends". There are no legends, if anyone was skilled he probably quit and these guys are the remains, since I dueled everyone I found in DuelSpot, not like i picked all the bad players. No one is a legend either.

Leveling; Do all the quests you can, sins ain't good mobgrinders so don't do that. End game assasin is the funniest one i'd say, you have more stuff to click and as a lotus assasin you practically rape apart casters. I have full almost full tier 2 epic armor and PvP level 4. So I don't really need any new PvE items. I use a mix of PvP and PvE armor in PvP. 1vs1 you can beat many people if you are skilled. Hard to kill some classes though. Mass pvp is ok with sin, not the best, not the worst.

Start using hotkeys (bind your keyboard keys to different slots in your hotbars). This will help you A LOT and if you're not gonna use 'em you're gonna be called a "Clicker" and nobody wanna be a clicker xD. Well also try to strafe (move around your target) as much as possible while using comboes/your hotkeys. If you do this well you can own many people, I assure you.

thefierceone17 - And I leveled my assasin back in may 2008. I was lotus til like 60 and then switched to full corrupt til 80. Then Hybrid. But now everything is different so I can't really say much about that.
