God these things are so ugly, you may as well be looking at a bus, are all the old trams being retired? I lived in innsbruck for the summers of 03 and 04 and i loved the look of the old PCC style trams. Glad i got my shots then.
Indeed they're all being replaced by 32 Bombardier Flexity Outlook trams. Right now, another 4 DÜWAGs are shipped to Arad, Romania. A few will survive in Innsbruck til Spring.
Wow that sucks, i dont know what the city of Innbruck has been thinking, the new trams and the Hungerburgbahn replacement both look awful and detracts from the look of the city. I hope the tram museum will keep one or two Duwags, Innsbruck wont be the same without them.
