The one guy i want to meet in this world more than anyone else in the world is Simon Neil.I admire his music so much and he'd be a bit curious to be told i can play 100% of his music on guitar. I'm not boasting, it's just that i have 320 covers ready to be put up on youtube sometime this year. Biffy are my biggest inspiration on the planet. I think Biffy Clyro will be around for many many years to come creating the best music ever known to man.

cos i've heard a lot of dave's drumming and i've heard a lot of ben's drumming and ben is technically more profficient than dave. while that doesn't instantly mean that he's better, in the case of biffy's tunes technical profficiency is like the key skill, while i reckon dave could hack it cos he is a top class drummer, ben's been doing it for at least 6 or 7 years now so he's the better man for the job. plus dave is a much better front man than he is a drummer

wait wait wait...correct me if i'm wrong but you're talking about and comparing dave grohl and ben johnston?? dave grohl was the fucking drummer of nirvana ffs. he made that band amazing as kurts songwriting didn't come across with chad channing flapping on the drums. ben is an ok drummer but grohl is by far the better drummer. for instance...look what grohl did for qotsa. i personally rate songs for the deaf as one of the best rock albums for the past decade and thats thanks to dave's drumming.

he would be immense for biffy BUT....at the end of the day there's no need to replace ben as he is an original member.....still alive....and has the scottish accent for the backing vocals.....as always i think the rumours are just rumours as dave wouldn't fit in to biffy very well.....but i still think he is the better drummer by a long long way.

yeah you just backed up my point, ben is a better drummer for biffy because dave isn't technially as profficient as ben. like i said this doesnt make a drummer instantly good, there's a lot more to it, but ben is actually a better drummer than dave. it takes a skillful drummer to make an album through the drums alone, so dave did a good job with nirvana. and songs for the dead is a very bad example considering joey wipes the floor with dave on lullabies and era vulgaris
