  • superb. would love to hear him sing the Prize Song

  • what is the name of than concert hall

  • Sorry but at the passage "Laufet Brübeder " the Chorus is nearly not to hear.I have myself sung it last weekend...and had to sing this part all in Fortissimo.(Loud),because the Orchester playing Full and also very Loud.

  • I can only recommend to all of you who argue about something irrelevant here, please come one time in your life to salzburg or vienna and listen to that piece of music live. If you do that i bet you will never forget it, Youtube can give you much these days, but something like Symphonie No.9 is something you wont know where or who you are if you listen to it live. What a precious MASTERPIECE! Greets from Austria.

  • The one that disliked this video is SATAN!

  • Hell of a helden tenor!

  • If this becomes top favorited video for at least a day, my faith in humanity will be restored.

  • 3:42

  • First of all, this is an excelent interpretation of "Ode an die Freude". Second, anyone ever noticed that the choir repeats the first verse while the subtitles move on to the next verse. And the lyrics supplied by "andallthatopera" are of yet another verse of the poem that is not even mentioned in the video?

  • You watch a video of a performance of the Ode an die Freude and what do people do in the comments? Argue about irrelevancies.

    Good grief...

  • christians never kept sunday the catholic church said no where in the bible is sunday worship thought. the papacy has stated with its own lips that the change from saturday to sunday was done by their own hands. so how can you say christians kept sunday holy. acts says peter went in the jewish synogogue to debate on the sabbath. that is clear that the sabbath to paul was still the jewish sabbath. daniel said only the anti christ would think to change Gods times and laws and so the papacy did

  • @vladimirkovalski Where do the popes say that? Early Christians, the Apostles themselves, said Mass on Sunday, called "The Breaking of the Bread." Jesus said He was Lord of the Sabbath and could change it if HE wanted to -- it was the NEW Covenant, replacing the Old. Jesus also said, "Whatever you bind on earth is bound in Heaven; whatever you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven," giving such authority to Peter, the first "pope."

  • @Joseph3044 JESUS never said he came to change the sabbath. jesus said in matthew 5 he did not come to change the law. acts says the discplies broke bread on every day of the week and meth together every day not just sunday. so that doesnt mean sunday is the new sabbbath. ACCORDING to matthew 15 jesus was angry with the jewish pharieeses for changing one of Gods commandments to hnour father or mother so why would he not be angry with those who changed the sabbath day he would daniel 7 :25

  • @Joseph3044 The LORD JESUS said he did not come to change the law. The catholic church has taken full responsibility for changing the sabbath day. The catholic church has stated if you follow the bible you will keep saturday. bUt the catholic church has stated that there traditions over ride the scriptures. that is blasphemy. The church is not build on peter jesus called peter a little rock and ejsus said the chruch he build on was foundation rock paul said we have one foundation christ

  • It was the next day, brothers, and I had truly done my best morning and afternoon to play it their way and sit like a horrorshow cooperative malchick in the torture, while they flashed nasty bits of ultra-violence on the screen, though not on the soundtrack, o my brothers, the only sound being music... Then I noticed, in all my pain and sickness, what music it was that, like, cracked and boomed. It was Ludwig van. Ninth Symphony, fourth movement. AAAAAAHHH!!

  • @PaulRietvoorn in the chair of torture*

  • The Pope is the anti Christ He CHANGED THE SABBATH day from sat to sunday he killed the christians he called himself JESUS substitute on earth Vicarius filii dei and he came out of the divided roman empire right after its collapse. The bible says before JESUS will come and take his people home this world will be decieved by this servant of satan pretending to be God. Jesus said EVERY NATION will worship this false prophet and God warns that who will worship him will be destroyed with fire.

  • @vladimirkovalski Your history is all wrong -- it has nothing to do with the history of the early Church. When did the popes kill Christians? There is no record of it. St. Peter was the first "Pope," i.e., Bishop of Rome (the term "Pope" came centuries later). Who divided the Roman Empire (it wasn't the Pope)? The Apostles began celebrating their service on Sunday, not Saturday (not the Pope). Get your history right before spewing this garbage.

  • @Joseph3044 there is no record of the inqusition? are you serious how can you lay like this. Not even satan can lie like you just did. because the popes apologized for the crimes of the church and you claim it never happend. There are torture chambers in the churches in europe that you can see with your own eyes where they crushed people with spikes and forced them to recant there belief in the bible alone and you claim it never happend

  • @vladimirkovalski Sorry, I misunderstood; I thought you were talking about the early Church where there is no record of "popes" killing Christians. The Inquisition is another matter. The cruelties of it are grossly exaggerated and fabricated. I've been to Europe--I've seen the apparatuses. But torture & executions were rare & conducted by the state authorities, not the Church. Cf. Peters, Edward, "Inquisition" & Kamen, Henry, "The Spanish Inquisition" & et al. debunking the myth.

  • @Joseph3044 now you are lying to yourself have you visited the torture chambers the vatican used. The popes killed 200 million christians all together by burnning them and using machienes of torture and you claim it didnt take place they even apologized for what they did and you claim it didnt happen

  • annoying static noice.... :-(
