you should see r type final the 1st ending is that you get stuck in the bydo realm and your stuck there because you fired an uber blast that hurt your wave cannon charge and you fired it again to kill the boss but then crippling your ship so you kinda die

Arghh fucking hate how in every recent R-Type game, the main character fucking dies! Really people! And what the fuck is with that happy music at the end??? And btw, the Ebon Eye was destroyed at the end of the fight, how are the Bydo still there, and how did it explode after the main character had enough time to right a victory speech? Fuck, if it were me, I would have fired the Positron cannon and blasted my way out!

Ebon Eye expanded, making the Heimdall get caught in the blast, throwing it across, and into a bio-synthetic wall, as of which got captured, and slowly but surely, all crew was transformed into Bydo, with the Heimdall completely covered in bio-synthetics.

So Bydo are bad evil side in this space conflict? Or they just know that humans can harm they so they arm them self. The outro is so peaceful and beautiful.

In THIS conflict they are the bad guys. They start out in the middle of the solar system and you plow them right back into their homeworld. If you play after the ending, a whole new campaign opens where you actually play as the doomed captain resurrected as a Byro commander (who still is convinced he's human, for some reason). When that happens, the Earthlings become the bad guys.
